Tadoe

"tadoo" hahahahah love a good tadooooo

I keep telling myself "Oh, just one more tattoo and then I'm done." But I keep seeing/thinking of some really cool designs, and it's making me want another one 😂 I already have a space themed one and a pretty decently sized one of my dog. I've had family tell me stuff like "You're not going to like that in 20 years." Like... Yes I will. They're both really well done by a talented artist, and they're placed in ways and in styles that are going to age really well. I've loved space related stuff since I was a literal child, and I'm never not going to love my dog. She got me through the worst time in my life, and we both saved each other in a way.

I know it's dumb, but there's this scene in South Park where Stan is talking with his grandpa, and his grandpa says something like "My dog was my best friend... I don't remember what she looked like." I can't have that happen to me. When every day was a struggle to get out of bed, and I'd eat maybe a small meal a day, she was the only thing that kept me going. I knew my parents would be crushed if I un-alived myself, but they'd be able to understand what happened. Literally the only reason I'm here right now is because of her. Because I knew if I just didn't come home one day, she would never know why. From her perspective, the only person that didn't yell at her and took time to play with her every day would just leave and never come back, and that thought hurt more than anything. She's my best friend, and even when it meant waking up every single day to family I couldn't talk to about my problems, open homophobia, constant panic attacks, etc, I couldn't abandon her like that. After everything, I'm still here, and so is she.

Thanks for being non-judgemental in regards to location, orientation etc. After watching many tattoo videos, I’ve realised that a lot of tattoo artists seem stuck in their ways

I personally like my gaps, more like a patchwork sleeve I am going for. to each their own ofcourse :)

1:16 She actually says "Tattoo,"  but then quickly returns to tadoo. ;) LOL

This tattoo artist must be from Australia

tattoo placement that is easy to cover up for work

Isn't up and down the other way around in Australia?

How will age and the movement of the skin affect a tattoo in for example the inner bicep area?

Yeah this is dope, best video on this topic by far. Extremely exhaustive and all of it makes sense.

The biggest tip I found useful is to consider the placement for future tattoos! I'm one to get small tattoos (although my first one is the biggest, being on the nape of my neck and just to the middle of my traps), and this helped me when I haven't considered if I would, but now that I am, this all makes sense! Thank you for making this video!

Have to say often I find sleeves so crammed that the images become indecipherable from eachother.

Thank you for commenting about potential places to avoid for weight loss! I’ve been avoiding getting a tattoo for a while because I’m a bigger person and I was worried about it getting super distorted later on 😭 I think I’m finally gonna just go for it!

My sleeve tadoo only has geometric figures and a mandala, so it doesn't matter how I keep my arm - my tadoo will always be correct.

I think the best tidbit given (for me) was the graphic you inserted about arm flow. So helpful! Thank you!

6 years later and this video is still incredibly helpful. Thank you so much!

This is a great video! I love how you had a diagram with the flow of tattoos on the arm. Its one of those design things that people do but don't always realize

I have an appointment in a few months and I have the design all thought out, but only had a general idea of where to place it. Because of this video, I know exactly where I'm placing it. Thank you!

This is such a well put together video. The best on placement that I have ever seen and I have watched a lot. Just giving credit where credit is due. You hit a lot important and detailed points many of artist dont take the time to go over.
