From Stavvy's World Bonus #179 - Usama Siddiquee: Patreon: stavvysworld

Usama Siddiquee joins the pod to discuss how the Stavvy's World theme song is way too Greek, other racist music, his atheist dad trolling Muslims after he departed from Islam, Italy sucking at war, Greek names, how not getting laid in high school with your boys is a vibe, and much more. Usama and Stav help callers including a woman who discovered a shocking family secret about her cousin, and a young professional whose annoying awkward older coworker is getting on his nerves.

My aunt is awful and threatening to disown me......oh and she drained his trust fund.

Tell. This. Man.

Disowned by an Aunt is the one of the most toothless threats I've ever heard. This is America, Aunties can hit the bricks at any given moment. They simply aren't load bearing family members

Imagine dying suddenly, and leaving a ton of money to take care of your family after . . .
And then they fucking erase you from history. Like wtf . . Unless the guy was a war criminal or something, Fucking Darth Vader. Gotdam.

We have to get an update on this one at some point.

Blowing this secret up will be so traumatic but you gotta tell him. His family is clearly morally bankrupt and he needs to learn that sooner rather than later.

Find any newspaper articles, medical records, court records... make a nice little info dump package... send it to the cousin anonymously.

Haven’t finished but anonymous letter is the best way

Sad thing about the fake dad is that he also is part of the conspiracy. He’s had to keep his identity a secret and there’s no way he didn’t also know about the money. So even the sentiment of “he’s dad because he raised you” is a hollow sentiment in a way.

This means the aunt buried all evidence of her previous husband, cut off any other family, and left no loose thread

She HAS to tell her cousin, his mom stole money that was left specifically for him and decided to do what she wanted with it. Doing some dumb guy math, this kid’s probably in his mid to late teens, so the sooner he finds out the better

You have to tell him. Who cares of you dont talk to that POS Aunt ever again? What is she really gunna do. That man tried to take care of his son even when he wasnt around he deserves to be praised for what he was trying to do and that mom deserves all the scorn her son can muster and hopefully sue for his money back

@seancondon3898 4 months ago

The reason she doesn't want her son to know because the money his dad left him is gone and doesn't want to face her son... Freakin crazy work on the moms part 😅

"Amelia Bedelia for podcasts" is so great.

The aunt didn’t want him to know because what she did is both horrible and illegal. I’d say the cousin needs a lawyer but I’d bet the aunt is broke anyway

@skbond9924 4 months ago

Diabolical behaviour by the aunt. The cousin needs to know.

It would probably ruin my relationship with my Mother if I found out they not only kept my real father a secret my whole life and cherry on top stole my ENTIRE trust fund. But even then I would rather know than not know. If somehow he finds out on his own and then realizes his entire family knew and hid it that would be even worse.

@pa1nted 4 months ago

they all kept quiet because she shared the money and threatened to cut them off of they told, but now it's gone so everyone has a conscience

@eliza6971 4 months ago

You just know that’s not the only messed up thing the aunt has done…not to mention the fact that she’s probably holding this over other people’s heads because she gave them money

@R0S3inC0NCR33T 4 months ago

this is the level of betrayal they make samurai movies about

@ichirosuzuki2252 4 months ago

My aunt sold two properties when my great-grandmother died for around 3.5 million dollars and proceeded to gamble away pretty much all of it in the space of three years, unbeknownst to her children. Suffice to say they still aren't talking, really, unless it's absolutely necessary. I wasn't going to see any of it anyway, so I'm not pissed off about it personally, lol.
