Chiba, a land once under the sea, has seen towns emerge, and castles and rivers have shaped human movement. From Jomon shell mounds to three kingdoms, the Chiba clan and the Sengoku period, Edo-period water transport, railways, reclaimed land, and airports, this approximately 39-minute video traces the history of Boso, connecting to its current landscape, using maps, historical documents, and actual photographs.
If this video is well-received, we plan to produce a sequel.
