"You just had to eat up real quick, huh?" 😂😂😂😂 You know how Jimin do lol

Hobis whole aura opening the hooligan mv is just too peak!!!!!

You have to treat Hooligan not as a literal story, but as a coded visual language, in particular this MV. (also like how most BTS music operates)
Hooligan here is as a persona, not just a rebel or used in a  shallow "troublemaker" sense. It's closer to someone framed as chaos, when they're actually reacting to control, which mirrors BTS's long-running narrative. In short, “Hooligan” is what they call you when you don't play along.

"Arirang" was Co-produced by the well known Diplo who has 5 songs on the album and a longtime BTS producer PDoggg. Mike WiLL Made-It has two songs on the album. There was some experimentation on this album. BTS rented a compound in L.A. for basically a songwriting Music Camp and invited a who's who of American and International Producer/songwriters to participate in the creation of 120 songs alongside BTS. This album ranked 5 out of 5 stars by Rolling Stone Magazine. It debuted at #1 on NINE of the top Billboard charts and the title track "Swim" debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Even the individual tracks charted #1 thru #13. The only other artist to achieve this is Taylor Swift.
BTS decided to create an album that reflected who is BTS, at least who is BTS at this moment in time. A re-visit to their hip hop roots was important to them. After 'Dynamite',  'Butter' and 'Permission to Dance' they were somewhat confused about who BTS actually is and this is their answer.
I am a 73 year old BTS Army and I am so proud of them!!
Thank you!

They got so much swag... you see how their choreo align perfectly with the beat, every little detail

The album is amazing! You should definitely check it out.

There are three ways to look at 'SWIM.'

First, it’s a visual metaphor for surviving life's 'waves' by flowing with them.
2nd  it’s a subtle nod to the members coming back together.
And 3rd, it’s a hidden love letter dedicated to ARMY.  (ARMY is represented by Lili here who can't see BTS but BTS can see them) navigating and protecting her in the background.

The sword dancer represents Army slaying all the haters of BTS. That’s why all the bodies are flying by leaving BTS untouched. Another army pointed that out. I feel that’s a serious shoutout to army for them holding it down and always defending them 💜

Interesting thing about RM's verse.
"Hit 'em up like pop" hit em up 2pac
"hit 'em with the truth, like rah" Rakim rapper who was known for talking truth plus his "truth hurts" album
"Let it be" beatles song let it be
"Let it bleed" let it bleed by rolling stones
One of producers who worked on Arirang called BTS guys music nerds and just every detail about their album shows it so well. 🙂‍↕️

See, the thing to me is, how FINE those suits look on them all in 2.00 but Jimin and Suga cleaning up!!..

Hobi totally wild on this album, they told us, but we didn't realise just HOW wild he would be..

Do not forget that they are singing in Korean and English. Suga = Korean at the beginning,  then J-Hope   Rap in Korean/English (admirably done), and   The sentence set a fire  is  in fact    블 을 븥 아…. First part is in Korean ….   Etc.   A masterpiece !

What you are trying to say is better late than never

I swear, somebody needs to make black t-shirts with, in tiny little white letters, "Had your little fun, fella?" I want that so bad!!!

She’s ARMY….yah….😏🔥

Better late then never

Yeah I recommend you react to ALL their albums cause you’ll def find bangers, but to start off maybe do their 3 first ones !!🤍

Better late than never. 😂💜

their 2.0 outfits and expressions are funny 😂

RM also hinted Swim is for these difficult times.

Thanks so much for your BTS reaction! It's cool to watch through your eyes/perspective. Hope you do get a chance to listen to new album Arirang - at least once!  Enjoy the ride! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
