I held off for a year waiting for an OLED swtich 2, but with that price hike coming next month I caved in.

The Switch 2 is an amazing system and I love it!! ❤️

Great video!

Ever since I upgraded to the Switch 2 coming from someone who has and still have a switch 1 it's like a night and day difference and I can't really go back to the switch 1 but still keeping my switch 1s especially the switch oled splatoon edition I have. If I sell my switch 1s I know for a fact that I'll forever regret it so as of now they're all still with me.

I play both handheld and TV. What I like better about Switch 2:
1. Switch 1 games are better; like half the load times, they look way better in handheld.
2. The snap of the joy cons onto the sides... My Switch 1 for the last few years had issues if it got more than a minor shake the controllers would disconnect, which made Switch 1 handheld kind of crappy (had to do tabletop a lot of the time).
3. The game library is expanded from Switch 1.

Note: I never had an OLED Switch 1, just the 2017 model I got on launch day. It was a tremendous console to last so long with only really minor problems (aside from the rail connectivity issue with the controllers... might be because I play a ton of docked/TV mode where I am constantly disconnecting the controllers. I don't expect the same issues to happen on Switch 2. I might be interested in getting an OLED Switch 2 in three years time. I have a lot more budget for gaming these days than I did with the early years of Switch 1.

We're mainly a handheld house too, so getting Switch 2 was a no brainer. We still have a Switch OLED so we don't have to constantly share one system. I just wish so many games weren't being thrown onto game key cards, 'cause I'm trying to keep a solely physical collection going while I still can.

A 120hz oled screen would be incredibly expensive, I don't think it will come until 2029 earliest.

I'm also exclusively a lazy gamer and my biggest issue with my switch 2 is the battery life. That percentage dropping so fast is diabolical. It makes my steam deck's battery life look good!😂 Great review as always!

Omg I ❤ur hat!! It ssooooo cute! 😮

I play only docked and prefer the Switch 2 because, frankly, it's just simpler. I have an older (non-OLED) Steam Deck as well and I just don't have the patience to deal with having to tweak settings in almost every game to get the performance and controls stabilized. The Switch 2 worked awesomely right out of the box and, on top of that, works great with my older Switch 1 pro controllers.

Also, aside from a few first-party titles, playing the Switch or Switch 2 on a budget is not that difficult. Setting up a DekuDeals account that notifies you of sales, price histories, etc... helps a ton for snapping up bargains, whether you're into physical or digital.

I love the big screen, it is a joy to play.  It seems like half of the switch 1 games that were released in the last several years run so much better on the Switch 2.

Switch 2 is my main console atm 😊

Wow! You give off that beautiful evil villain vibe! Thank you for your video, it was very informative.

I wanted to get a Switch 2 but I keep spending my extra money on games for play station and Switch.  I bought 4 OG Switch because I kept breaking them. I was thankful I had a store extended warranty on 2 of them.
