Great video n comparison 👍 thanks.

Enjoyed the video. I bought a KLX230s and found the seat as comfortable as a steel beam. I cut up some camping foam to match the shape of the seat, layered it up, and secured to the seat with a $20 seat cover. This has raised up my seating position about 2", giving my legs much more room. The seat is now waaayyy more comfy and I can ride for hours. Other than the seat, my KLX is overall very solid and reliable, and great offroad. Between this and a Yamaha XT250, I'd buy the one with the lower price. Suzuki and Honda don't currently have anything comparable in this engine size.

i like the klx 230 a lot

Had 230 df I'm 200lbs and 68 mph was maxed out but stayed comfortable the whole way through

I would love the klx300 but the seat height is just to high for me

May want to point out this a comparison to the KLX230S, not the standard size which is a 34.8 seat height. Also KLX230 is SOHC and KLX300 is DOHC. So engines feel different.  Love my KLX230 but the KLX300 has awesome suspension.

Do you have to adjust  chain a lot ? Also how have the irc gp tires held up as far as mileage goes and on pavement ?  Thanks
