We call it combatsexual. Zenos is a combatsexual. The voice actor really sells it.

Telling someone to rush through their first MSQ journey just to get to ShB is like telling someone "Swallow your steak dinner so you can have dessert."
I know SB isn't everyone's steak, but reactors forgot why they liked the game in the first place. They also need to stop setting up expectations.
Take your time dude. Enjoy yourself.

Zenos generally mirrors the player. He wants to fight stronger and stronger enemies, give everything he has in a fight, sacrifice everything to get that one fight that will make him feel alive. I love this character

Stormblood is absolutely overhated, but I can see where some of the criticism comes from. It felt like they tried to do too much too fast at points, but man it's still a blast. It just happens to be a slightly lower point in the game's history that just so happens to be sandwiched between the colossal peaks of Heavensward and Shadowbringers, which kinda makes it look a bit worse by comparison

Oh my sweet summer child... You've yet to reach peak :D

Thank you everyone for not spoiling in the comments.
E-Thin TV uploaded this shortly after reaching the end and has yet to begin Post-Stormblood.
Feel free to share your thoughts, and avoid posting what "everyone knows" until he gets a chance to know it organically.

Zenos' voice actor is so great. He throws everything he's got into every scene and just chews it up.

I like how they represent us getting stronger by his large wave attack in the beginning just flattening us. The second time, it knocks us down by half and then in the final dungeon we just shake it off.

It gets in to Zenos' mentality a good bit (and why he uses katanas) in a story from the Tales collection.  He has a good(ish) reason as to why he wants to fight us.

Zenos' performance was simply divine

I love Zenos but there’s a weird cohort of people who vehemently hate him for whatever reasons they can’t ever really explain.

My favorite part of FFXIV is that every time you think the story can't possibly get any better and crazier it just does

I love Zenos, a perfect foil to the Warrior of Light! I loved him the moment he kicked our ass all the way to the end of Stormblood! Peak villain!

Zenos carried Stormblod for me. For the first time i've felt true FEAR in this game. He humiliated us. We were a joke compare to him, yet he saw the potential and waited for the challenge. In a world where nothing is just black and white, it was a breath of fresh air to see a true, PURE VILLAIN like Zenos. No other motives, just pure chaos. And oh boy he delivered. It made the liberation of Ala Mhigo trully feel like it was earned. It was worth it. It was hard fought. I loved this liberation arc we went through because she enemy was THAT STRONG.

He shall forever be my friend. The ONE character who gave the MC a beating and showed us we're not invincible.

Stormblood is equally as good as Heavensward for me. But even saying that, and even not being able to rank one above the other... anything this game has done just pales in comparisson to Shadowbringers and specially Endwalker. Those expansions are on a league of their own.

Stormblood MSSQ was the time when my WoL turned from just another throwaway vessel I create to play games into its own personality I enjoy roleplaying as.  So I am a bit biased.

But honestly, the way Stormblood shows living during war is surprisingly accurate.

That fight was actually hella funny mane. Good shit keep up the grinding tho, Shadowbringers is coming up and it’s peak.

26:46 Do you see Shinryu casting Ramuh's Judgement Bolt?  Every time the "accumulated aether" bar fills it cycles though the primals you fought along the way.  Even the gameplay was a wrap-up of the journey you've had until now.

I beauty of this game is the fact that the MSQ goes all kinds of places up and down and even if most people don't like one part, it's going to be someone's favorite. If you're patient and give it the time of day it feels like everyone moment was made with care by someone in the dev team regardless if it's the dialogue, animations, or the music. It all pans out. 👍

Nah man, it's the other way around. Zenos isn't like the Green Goblin. In fact, I'd dare say the Green Goblin would be terrified of someone far crazier than he is.

I enjoyed Stormblood a lot, the setting/zones and the music is great.

I loved the shinryu BGM. So cool
