great video but i do have to disagree with the end statement of “dont get too attached because it’ll be gone someday” everything will be! i think its silly to limit your own enjoyment of something because you can not ensure you will have it in 10 years time, the ability to keep shouldn’t be a necessity for love!

I’m shocked it took you that long to find a toxic thrower

I don't normally watch overwatch content myself these days but this video was very enjoyable. Hope your journeys in whatever you do next go well!

As a current ow GM player I have to tell you 30 days just isn't enough to reach it. Your mechanics are holding you back. You can't get out of diamond because you are playing like a diamond (which there is no shame on that - diamond for 30 days after such a long break is insanely impressive)

Enjoyed watching you in the games where you had fun! ggs

i clicked this video and was about half way through when i decided to read some comments, i didnt think thered only be 2 others, then i noticed you only have 340 subs, i was expecting so much more. great content bro hope you go far

Great video, I do have some honest thoughts on it. The main reason you struggled so hard to rank up was that you played like its 2018 ow. 5v5 sustain and the tank role allows you be server admin on tank at least up until like high gm so when you respect the enemies at times where they wouldnt be able to punish/outrotate your plays, you are losing massive value. Do try 6v6 where that traditional gameplay gets far more value as the tank role is not like 5v5. Counter swapping is an issue but again only at higher elo because people do not know how to play said heroes to a good enough potential to properly deny an actually good player with good fundamentals. A big part of why ow is pushing out insane amounts of content is largely due to them having a big competitor which pushed out content much much faster(mr) which has definitely lowered the quality of content being put out. I like more quality over quantity but i understand why it is what it is. Definitely excited to see if you try out 6v6 and your thoughts on that

The Overwatch ranked and matchmaking systems are meritocratic to a brutal degree. Just playing for 30 days and hitting GM/Champ or even just Masters simply isn’t realistic unless you are some god gamer who can rely on mechanics alone.
Peaking at D2 is a pretty good result all things considered.

This only having 1300 views is diabolical, you deserve so much more, keep up the good work man!!

The fact it took that long to get to a negative teammate and someone who threw is incredible to me, awesome video and props keeping it positive!

The reason why your WR trended towards 50% is.... you found your skill level.

Pretty much got it exactly right in regards to tank designs in 5v5, and it's why I vastly prefer the 6v6 mode even though the ranks are a little inflated because of the lower playerbase. The tank health pools are a lot more manageable in that mode which holds back the overkitted new tanks from running every lobby.

I will say though, this release schedule of a new hero every season is just for this year. We have two more heroes left before Reign of Talon: Season 6 ends and then we reset to a new chapter and a new season 1 for a new story arc. The fast hero release schedule was largely to encompass the game's 10th anniversary and after this the devs have said they're slowing it down.

Never thought I would see the day the sleeping bear returned to Overwatch.  Great content Burr, well edited too! Love seeing how far you've come as a creator.

Awesome video bro, Ive been experiencing the same issue with ranked, knowing when a winstreak is gonna happen, and when a loss streak will. Ive been on winstreaks where I genuinely dont have to do a single thing and we win, and loss streaks where Its really difficult to make the right play. The ranked system definitely does seem funky currently, I used to have a lot of trust in it but as of recent its been very weird.

Great video man I love your opinion on the matchmaking as a current masters - Gm tank player I totally agree with your opinion on the game as a whole been playing for two years now and you don’t even know how the placements work… when you play your 50 quick play games with a high win rate your competitive placements are higher and give you a higher chance to move out of that diamond and low masters slump due to calibration..

How is this guy not famous

came in expecting a normal overwatch video and was pleasantly surprised by the positive messaging about managing your emotions playing video games and encouraging positivity. good video :)

I've been playing for 9 years and I'm still shit :D  I just stumbled across this and it's honestly one of the best OW videos I've seen in a long time...  It's a shame you're not gonna play anymore, but seriously, good video man, well done :)

Great video, it was really enjoyable to watch, not only in the midst of running in and out to spray some paint, but also as an overwatch player who's been through a similar experience as you had in this video.

I also wanted to make the comparison in your production quality to ThatBoyAqua, and like others have said, you deserve more numbers where you value them the most. So I shall refer to you as "ThatOWplayerBurr" in my head from now on.

What a high quality video my goodness. Bravo!

super underatted hope you get big one day!
