A lot of people's childhood s were made happier by watching Richard on TV as a actor he was a natural it seemed to come effortlessly to him. I Loved him in Man About The House Robins Nest Dick Turpin As a actor you didn't know Richard was acting if you watched him and I suppose you can't give a actor a bigger compliment than that .A lot of people of a certain age will be sadder today with his passing thanks Richard for all the enjoyment you give thanks for the laughs rip sir
Back in 74 I was working at LBC and living in St Peter's Square Chiswick. Richard often enjoyed a drink at the Carpenter's Arms, as did I, so I got to know him on a personal level. In the early 80s, we met again in Brisbane when Richard starred in a play. Never forgotten my casual friendship with a thoroughly pleasant fellow :-)) Ken Guy
RIP Richard 💓
