There's something I really want to tell all otaku out there. I talked about a lot of things in the video, but this is all I want to say:

"Don't engage in fan activities without thinking! Have some peace of mind! Don't push yourself too hard! Be happy!"

A while ago, a post like this became a hot topic on X (Twitter) 👇

"You're not skipping meals for your fan activities, are you? Stop sacrificing yourself more than necessary."
(※The original poster has locked their account, so the wording might be slightly different...sorry.)

I know there are various opinions on this warning, but seeing this post become a hot topic reminded me of something that happened six months ago.

That was when I was interviewed by a TV program about fan activities.

What was the content? I explained the details in the video.

When I was asked to appear, I realized that the program's concept and my own views didn't align, so I didn't appear, but I've been bothered by the questions the director asked me ever since.

I've always wanted to talk about these nagging feelings in a video, but I was somehow afraid of hurting someone, so I couldn't. However, after seeing this tweet become a hot topic, I thought, "Now's the time to talk!" and quickly filmed this video.

How much you spend on your fan activities is a personal choice.

Even if you're in the red, can't save money, or your life falls apart from sacrificing everything, if you're happy, that's fine. I have no authority to stop you.

But I want everyone to think about this before watching shows like this:

⚠️Is spending an amount of money on fan activities that doesn't match your income truly a virtue for an otaku?

⚠️Isn't sacrificing yourself to give to your idol just a form of addiction?

⚠️Even if you're in trouble, your idol won't help you. Are you prepared not to regret it then?

⚠️What kind of efforts are the otaku appearing on the show making behind the scenes to survive even if they're in the red? ⚠️Why do media outlets and organizers create content that incites otaku?

May everyone who encounters this video enjoy a happy otaku life.
