lcs died when bjergsen left

no matter how disgusting TSM ended up, im still goddamn proud to root for that team because of this man

Wow suddenly im in the nostalgia. I almost forgot how addictive and enjoyable league was during that time (2014-2015).

I miss him so much man

The burgerking suffered from not having competition at this level in the west, i personally think if he had more chances to play against higher level mid laners. Hed have improved instead of stagnating.

Bjergsen not going back to EU in 2017 is a forever what if moment, the rise we saw in Eu the following years, having bjergsen there at that time pushing for the top vs caps and perkz could have taken him all the way.

hes legit the reason i played league for so long... he's my fav all time pro

Man I wish bjerg was still in the scene in some capacity, player/coach/caster anything😢

Bjergsen was the reason I watch LCS in the past just like how I watch LCK because of Faker. For me he's the Faker of the West. I'm sad and happy at the same time when he retired but I think he's forever an Iconic player in the LCS. TSM is also my favorite team in NA because of him.

People really forget that while Caps has the nickname “Baby Faker”, back then Faker himself called Bjergsen the “Faker of the West”. That’s how good he was 🥲

i didnt realize it at the time but i idolized this dude lol

I miss Bjergsen in the scene so much. Humble kid, insane talent, and ALWAYS a team player. My viewership died when he retired. He deserved better than how he was treated by Regi, and he certainly made a good move by stepping away before it cost him his mental health. I will always support him!

I miss staying up all night (am from Europe) to watch TSM games on school nights. Good times and memories.

I see Bjergsen I click. I miss him so much.

I just hope he’s out there enjoying life.

Never got the man’s autograph but got a high five in Vancouver after the championship.

This video is so nostalgic, watching this live was amazing. C9 Hai, C9 Balls, imaqtpie all great players.

lovely video. used to be a huge tsm fan. not really into esports asmuch anymore but still these are amazing. used to watch bjergsen streams. Such a smart player

I cant help but get emotional whenever I see videos about Bjergsen this man single handedly inspired me to watc lcs and polish my english.

People that only saw Bjerg in his later years will never fully grasp how dominant he was in his prime. He was just so much better than other NA mids that there really wasn't much competition till Jensen started playing here, and even then, he was regularly better than him. I know the League fan base can be very toxic and recency biased, but I hope as the league goes on, we can appreciate more past players at their peak like the NBA or NFL does.

Bjergsen was my idol and forged my love for competitive league

Man how I wish I could go back to these days.
