Thank You Seth for making this video. I'm so incredibly proud and grateful to have Alex as my older brother. He's a true gem of a human being and you've given me the gift of seeing him achieve 3rd don from 2000 miles away! Also, massive shout out to Sensei Stokes and the whole NC Judo community.

Thank you Seth for helping me practice and for highlighting the test! You’re a beast on the mat and behind a camera!

Sensei said "I'm gonna give you a second to rest" two seconds passed "time's up" LMAO

Its really nice to see an inside look on people who are good natured, but still taking martial arts seriously

Alex is insanely impressive lol

As a BJJ practitioner, the Judo content gets me so pumped and excited. Great job Alex and Seth! Love from Raleigh, NC ❤️🤍💙

That was the cleanest kip up I ever seen in real time sparring

So proud of Alex! I’ve known him for over 15 years and he was my teammate who pushed me to get my black belt under Stokes. It’s been a huge pleasure to have him as a teammate and friend

Big ups to Sensei Seth for really stepping back on this vid and continuously showing the respect to Judo as a martial art. Only those who’ve done it truly know how challenging it is at any level and to have something show how difficult it is at the highest really shows how these ranks/belts are truly earned.

Your videos with Alex are the best advertisements for Judo that I think I've seen. I'm legitimately interested in giving it a try.

"ima give you a second to rest, times up" he meant that literally XD

Judo is underrated. It needs more mainstream than BJJ

"Picolo? nah other green guy, other anime" xD

25:40 DANG! After all he's been through, he can still do that?! Mad respect.

This is beautiful. You can only understand how brutal that test is if you ever practiced judo. Average people get exhausted after 3 or 5 rounds. Imagine doing this for so long, after a demonstration while under pressure. My respect and congratulations for Alex.

Kani Basami can end careers

Alex has strong "Keanu Reeves training BJJ to exhaustion" vibes

Judo really does seem like the most wholesome combat sport.

Seth is still the best Youtuber and content creator.
Have a great day, from the Kudo practitioners from Brazil!
