We went round today it is a great museum of lots of things, history and nostalger in abundance, we spent a very happy 2 hours identifying parts of our child hoods, the great map of 189os Blackpool was a real eye opener, after watching this video you will want to go.
I visited this place a few years ago, really nice bloke took time to talk to me. I totally agree with what he says about having your items on display to see. I lost my dad three years ago and the toys I have collected are what I had as a child. I only have to look at them and I am transported back to my happy childhood. Thanks again
I sat there and watched this today with great enjoyment. you said buy a cabinet and enjoy them.I have collected dinky toys for about 35 years and every one i have purchased MUST be pristine with PERFECT boxes.the hobby has been my life. do you know the sad thing is they have never been on display!.i just know they are there (hiding),
I never even knew it existed until a few minutes ago? Otherwise I would have visited it by now! I'm only 57 miles away in Manchester area so hopefully when we come back out of lockdown I can go there and buy something nice to add to my collection 😎
your dead right about the wardrobe.i have been collecting only the very best mint examples of Dinky & Matchbox toys for 35 years and they have never been out.only to photograph.
I was in this shop when me & my mum & dad went to Blackpool on holiday in the 90s some superb models, Going to buy a few cabinets for my collection get them out on display after many years
Great video, would love to visit one day.. Inspired me to by a nice big glass display cabinet and display all my Corgi cars from the Sixties which also were just roof insulation..
Saw a couple of things I used to have as a kid, magic roundabout, and the Kojak and starsky and hutch cars, it's safe to say mine were in worse condition lol
