So lovely to see so many new faces in the channel! Welcome! Awesome to see you guys are enjoying this play-through! Can't wait to play more and drop the next episode. Reminder that you can catch me live daily on twitch.tv/koji to see it first! ☺️

There is a correct and a wrong way to play this game.  The wrong way to play this game is the way others tell you to.  The only correct way to play this game is the way you want to.  Have fun, this is an amazing game, and more than a year later, I am still learning new things in this game, getting dialogue I have not seen before, mechanics used in a way I didn't know they could.  My only advice is to explore everywhere, touch everything, and talk to everyone.  Have fun.

All the Galemancers in chat are so unhinged, I love it 😂

Just a few non-spoilery pieces of advice for a first time playthrough on stream

1 - don’t get fooled about time restrictions. Most things in this game aren’t timelocked. Just make sure if there’s someone who needs to be rescued from a burning building or a gas leak that you rescue them before you take a long rest, but otherwise you can take some time.

2 - especially early game, long resting relatively often can be good. You get cutscenes when you long rest, and sometimes there will be more than 1 queued up when you rest so you can do a partial rest with no camp supplies and there may be another cutscene.

3 - talk to all the NPCs (at least in Act 1).

4 - when you first spot a character, pay attention to their colored outline. Green means they’re allies, yellow is neutral, and red is enemies. If you see red characters on the edge of your vision, they’ll fight you on sight, so it’s good to try and set yourself up for battle (you can ungroup and hide some characters for sneaking). If you see yellow outlines, even if you think the encounter might end in a fight, talk to them. Sometimes you can avoid combat or take a different path to an objective by talking with characters that you assume are enemies.

I love watching people first time reaction to the intro video.  The shock is so real.

I started a few weeks ago and I've been absolutely obsessed

Your reactions are spontaneous and natural, that’s what is interesting in this type of videos.
But you should really change the difficulty (yes it is possible). Because even in Balanced or in Tactician the story and the encounters are exactly the same. All that changes is the level of difficulty of the fights. And I think you’re more than capable of fighting as a tactician or, at least, balanced.
The challenge will be much (really much) more interesting. Currently your life points are doubled. By changing the level, the confrontation is really worth it. And the memory you will leave with the game will be much more memorable!

Just one random person on the internet's opinion, but after watching several other people's BG3 playthroughs, the best place for their camera seems to be the bottom right corner (and just a little bit smaller frame) The reason I suggest that is because if you keep it at the top left, you're covering up all your companion's approval/disapproval alerts.

Subscribed! I’m glad this came up on my feed, I enjoyed your reactions and look forward to seeing your playthrough.

Dang, you fought well and hard against the Phase Spider Matriarch and her brood.
You were kinda underlevelled, ngl so good job, honestly!
I recommend you finish checking out the area you have first landed in.

I envy you for being able to play this amazing gem of a game 😁
I've been obsessed with it since early access over four years ago and got hundreds our hrs of playtime out of the game before it even fully released.

Thunderwave is a good spell but it has to be used in melee range to knock attackers away. Also you must have Magic Missile for Gale, it is a Wizard’s bread and butter spell. It never misses, it can be split between enemies, it does not have to be straight line of sight, and it can be upcast, meaning you get more missiles if you cast it as a higher level.

When you killed that big guy on the ship, and then you went to loot his body and accidentally looted the empty dude underneath him, I was like, OMFG! If you leave his sword, I'm going to fucking lose my shit! 😅

An amazing start! I really love how you are exploring the game with a fresh, patient, curious and also passionate mind. Subscribed, to follow your BG3 journey  ❤‍🔥

Subscribed! I honestly never get tired of seeing people playing rhis game for the first time. Just remember there is no wrong way to play, people can be very.... passionate shall we say about BG3 but there is no wrong way only YOUR way. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the adventure! Good luck and have fun 😁

I am so excited to watch this playthrough! I love this game so much. I have way more hours in it than I want to admit and still find new dialogue when I do runs. I hope you love this game too Koji ❤
