I went on a visit once and standing under the Angel of the North felt surreal.  I vaguely remember some little acts of remembrance by visitors,  In Lyon in France this year  there was a large man on phone statue 5 metres high a colourful sight of man about town,

I’m from Hebburn, just moved back from living in Birtley for 30 years and used to cycle back and forth for years, you do like the long way found. At the roundabout at Wrekenton you should of went past Farmfoods and down Eighton Bank and you would be straight near the Angel

I used to do voluntry work at the fishing lakes there. Often visited the old rail tracks in the woodlands.

Remember i told you to watch the crown jewels when you were skiing? Your not supposed to endangering them on your bike rattling up and down them steps!! You ride like a madman!!😅
