Amazing how many people forget that Foley came back to interfere in the main event on this night after all of that.  Man's a beast.

Undertaker choke slams foley thru roof of cell*

Jr: GOOD GOD GOOD GOD
King: that’s it he’s dead

The fact that Mick Foley is still able to walk unassisted and function after all the crap he put his body through is nothing short of amazing.  Probably the toughest SOB to ever step foot in the ring.

It shows where the WWF were at this point in their history when you could believe they would actually set someone on fire.

My brain can't comprehend the fact that this review is over 2 & 1/2 years old already.
This was more than a year before the Fiend debuted for Christ sake

I completely forgot that Mick was involved in the main event directly after his Hell in a Cell match... Foley is actually god

Fun fact, Foley has said that when he was “smiling” after being choke slammed through the cell, he wasn’t actually smiling, but trying to stick his tongue through a hole under his bottom lip that he also suffered during this match. Apparently the blood covered it up though lol

As a kid, I had no idea what JR meant by that being unfamiliar territory for Paterson....until a year or so later.

I'd like to know how much WWE is paying that guy to go through years old videos to find a second too long clip which gives them right to a DMCA takedown.

Ken Shamrock was way ahead of his time. If he showed up just two or three years later when the quality of the work rate company wide was much higher quality, he would have been a huge star.
Imagine Shamrock vs. Angle. Yes please.

Pat Patterson’s partner of 40 years died the day of this show
JR’s joke about Pat hurts a lot more with that context.
The man he wasn’t allowed to marry for 40 years died.

Just from pure nostalgia, it's hard to have better memories than this hell in a cell match. It's one of those things where you can't describe it, it has to be watched. Plus for most of us, the story of mankind and undertaker leading up to it was one of the best ever as well. Was it a technical masterpiece? No, but damn it was the pinnacle of the attitude era

the low down done by dlo is sooo underrated! such a beautiful frogsplash variation.

Mick Foley is one of my favorite wrestlers of all time and this night is a big reason why

Man, Ken Shamrock was really solid in his prime.

That Head and Shoulders bit was one of the few times I ever heard my dad laugh out loud when I was a kid, lol

Reupload of King Of The Ring 1998.. we get to talk about Mick Foley going crashing through the announce table again!

"Unfamiliar territory for Patterson" 😂😂😂😂

Jr: Good God Almighty, That Killed Him!"

“Testes, 1,2...3?!”
🤣 that’s the type of humour I found funny when I watched this PPV as a kid😅
