How to Make an Ice Cream Cozy #icecreamcozy |#cozygrrlpattern

If you've ever eaten ice cream right out of the pint, you know how annoying it is to have freezing hands! This tutorial uses my GirlyGrrlStyle "Cozy Grrl Pattern" on Etsy as a digital download. The pattern will have both the "Cool Grrl" pattern for pints of ice cream, and the "Hot Grrl" pattern for microwaveable bowl cozies.

I made these also and found that it can also be used for a ramen soup cup to microwave. Happy sewing 😁

Just today I was shopping at a store and saw these for holding Cup of Noodles. I almost bought a couple because my husband's hand shakes and I worry about him burning himself. I didn't buy them because I sew and have a lot of fabric scraps and knew that someone on YouTube would have a video and here I am watching your easy to follow instructions. Thank you so much!!!

For those of you who love "cup a noodles," this may be doable while you're microwaving your ramen. 🙂

Thank you again , I used your measurements for darts and also cut my batting smaller so much easier to turn right sides . Sewing edges is challenging but love this pattern

Also you can use fleece for the batting, I did and it work wonderful. Also I use a thin faux leather for the inside so I can wipe it out its wonderful. I am also gonna try and use heat n bond ultra hold so I don't have to sew the X to fuse my fleece and cotton fabric together.
