Ah, yes, the:
"Paper > Rock and
Rock > Scissors, therefore
Paper > Scissors" bunch

It drives me crazy that no one address the fact that Cosmoem is floating at all times

It’s sucks that everyone always points to cosmoem as showing how strong Ash is.

Him throwing that log in Hoenn is way more obviously impressive and funnier.

can't believe Magical Leaf moves faster-than-faster-than-light (Golem can't dodge it)

Lanturn's Pokedex entry states that its light can be seen through 5 km of water. If you do the math, this feat actually requires more energy than exists in the observable universe. Now we scale the entire Pokemon universe according to this.

I got this on my homepage with the "No, Ash Ketchum Can't Kill God" title and the "He Can Kill God, Apparently" thumbnail, and I simply had to click on that combination of mixed signals

5:28 using the word "bloodlusted" to describe the elements of harmony made me lose my shit lmao

Dont worry, the wiki has been changed! He is now listed as Low 1-C, thats what you wanted, right?

One thing "dodge speed-of-light attacks" folks seem to forget is you don't have to dodge the laser, you only have to dodge the laser GUN

This reminds me of my biggest power scaling gripe, where powerscalers assume if a character can dodge an attack of some speed, that character must be as fast as that projectile, even though, just as an example

If a projectile is flying at you at 500mph, and (for sake of ease we’re gonna assume it has constant speed) needs to cross 1 mile to hit you, and the projectile is only the size of a bullet, you OBVIOUSLY do not need to move 500 miles to either side to evade it

7:59 magikarp actually has direct feats for this tho, with it jumping all the way into space in an anime episode based on magikarp jump

Powerscaling being entirely "just how much gigaton they can nuke" pisses me off so bad because that's not what fucking decides a fight fiction or real life. And the fact that they mix together stuff like game mechanics alongside stories is so annoying too

Powerscalers on their way to claim that Kirby isn't all that he's cracked up to be because he uses a plot mcguffin to take down the big bad, while also claiming that Dr. Zomboss can kill God Himself because a zombie can survive a shot from a peashooter that is apparently able to destroy the entire multiverse.

The example is gone now, but for years they had Jolyne from Jojo part 6 at Building level by scaling to Pucci. They had Pucci at building level by scaling to Jolyne.

I’m convinced vs battle wiki is just a place to see how hard you can glaze your favorite characters

i am convinced real power scalers just at some point didn't pick up the fact that people were doing ironic power scaling and making fun of them and just ran with it and it all melded into the mess that we see now XD

VS battle wiki is like a never ending arms race of glazing and hyping up your favorite characters. But in the process, they get the ship of Theseus treatment, in which it is only the same character in theory.

8:05 to be fair that speed could be due to its ability to Jump over a mountain in one jump so I could buy that speed being needed so it can propel itself that high in the air

You got to hand it to them, the power scalers know how to stretch every inch of material they are given to the limit, all to make their favorite character the "strongest".
