Angry Video Game Nerd (AVGN) episode 187: The Simpsons: Bartman Meets Radioactive Man. The Nerd reviewed the first two Simpsons NES games 13 years ago. Now he's back to review the third awful Simpsons NES game: Bartman Meets Radioactive Man! This "game" published by Acclaim (LJN in disguise) is the side-scrolling platformer that features Bart Simpson on a comic book quest to rescue his kidnapped idol, superhero Radioactive Man. It's a weird mix of the show and the whole Bartman concept (later used in real-world comics.) This is also this year's Christmas episode, so Happy Holidays to all, we'll see you next year!

That intro was supreme. Kudos to the animator(s)!

Homer leaning out of car window: “NEEEEEEEERRRRRRRDDDDDD!”

@Lheticus 5 years ago

In the intro--it's actually kind of touching that the "Where did you learn to fly?" head grew on him enough to actually be included in the AVGN "family."

This is the youngest 40 year old I’ve seen-

"Smithers, who is that nerd?"
"Why, that's James J. Simpson, sir. He's been working here for 13 years..."
"I like the pluck of that man's anger."

@Rong_Rong 5 years ago

That intro is 10/10.

"That was 13 years ago." I have never felt so old.

@Domdotcom799 5 years ago

That intro was even better than an actual simpsons episode

Having Dr. Nick say “Trust me” makes me not want to buy Express VPN...

Finally. Someone that understands what "Don't have a cow, Man," means.

@poposterous236 5 years ago

He actually had a cow. I've never even considered what that would entail.

Wow! Did AVGN just talk about turning into a tornado, and NOT mention Simon’s Quest 🤯?

@samuellaakso7012 5 years ago

When you realize that AVGN has been around nearly half the time the Simpsons have been on air...

"The Simpsons's gone on for too long it needs to stop... okay now onto AVGN episode 18-something"
10/10💀

“If this game were a person, It would be a person I don’t like” really got me for some reason

@tabby6431 5 years ago

the fact that the simpsons intro was remade just because of this video is just amazing

@Lumowinasis 5 years ago (edited)

Tbh that Simpson’s intro almost made me think that I wasn’t watching a Cinemasscre video.

@Henri-email-archive 5 years ago

ah, so thats what ''having a cow'' actually meant. wow.

@Delta-yo8xt 5 years ago

"If this game were a person, it'd be a person I don't like!" got a hearty chuckle outta me
