Yes, you must do Fingers (Live for Hunger TV) fantastic performance.   Also Little Girl Gone is a great song.

I wish someone would explain to me why Chinchilla isn't a global superstar ! Every time I listen to her the more impressed I am

chalk outlines live version with Ren, is a must view.

Chinchilla is a queen! One thing that is easily missed because you're too busy being blown away by her ridiculous pipes is the line "say I, say I, say I, say I, say I love you"... 5 times. Just great songwriting. That, and the breadcrumbs line in the first verse get me every time.

She makes her own hats, designs (and sometimes makes) her own costumes. She writes. She designs videos and produces. She's the whole package.

Welcome to Chinchilla ,enjoy the ride,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Fingers (live for Hunger TV)  would be a good choice for your next Chinchilla solo but anything she does is a good choice,,,,,,,,

Chinchilla is well know for her hats and headpieces.  The album this is from was called "Flytrap" hence the fly theme.

Ho. Lee. Crepe.
When you have the chops and artistry to dress up like a freaking house fly and bring your audience to awe and emotion you are the genuine article. The lyrics are superb. Her control of her instrument makes me shake my head with wonder and amazement.  I am a 66 yr old man who thinks you damn kids should stay the hell off my lawn. That being said she makes my black shrunken heart hurt. Once again NittPicc comes through with a contemporary song that can hold it's own with any beloved classic. What a unexpected experience this morning.  Thank you NittPicc!

She's an amazing artist. The duets she does with Ren are amazing. Always looking forward to new material from her.

The EP is called Flytrap and when you get to Bounce Back you hear the advice her mother gave her about people who hold you too tight  like a flytrap . The other song from the EP is Caps Locks . You called her a diamond and she has a song calling herself a M.F. Diamond . Chinchilla defies genres and writes to her emotions. Her ability to write honest raw emotional songs is what most of us love about her, that and a sassy approach to  men and the recording industry has endeared her to many .the songs she sings with Ren are Chalk Outlines and How to be Me . There will be more collaborations with Ren coming in soon with his new music.
Great reaction ,thank you .

It’s a crime she isn’t more well known. As others have said Fingers (Live for Hunger TV) is better if not equal to this IMO.

You need to do all the Ren and Chinchilla songs and all of her solo work. And then Sam Tompkins as well. Ren surrounds himself with people who push art/music the same way he does, and he’s not afraid to be outshined on a collaboration.

Her boyfriend is literally just giving her breadcrumbs if affection in stead of a full meal of love, so she’s a fly to nibble at the crumbs

Chinchilla is 27 years old I would definitely listen too her recent songs MF Diamond,Caps lock & Bounce back 🔥🔥

Her latest album is called   Fly Trap

Chinchilla's solo stuff is too pop for me to really get into, but do I ever love her voice! I love the stuff she did with Ren. "Chalk Outlines" is haunting. There's certainly no denying her talent, and from the interviews I've seen with her (Chris Liepe has a nice one from a year or so ago) she seems quite genuine and charming.

This song is sooo good! Great reaction.

For more of her absolute brilliance, defining check out Fingers (Live for Hunger TV)

This was such a beautiful reaction 🥹 thank you ❤ To give you a little background on CHINCHILLA, she signed with a label and management in 2020 and split with them both in 2022 (same management and label Ren had). The experience left her frustrated and angry and she channeled those emotions into her Flytrap EP. She hasn’t really gone into specifics, but you can find breadcrumbs in her lyrics for Little Girl Gone, Cut You Off, Caps Lock, and Bounce Back (e.g., “file me down to the shape that you like,” “sick and tired of dumbing down my innovation,” etc. Even after splitting with the aforementioned label and management, she would send out demos and meet with other industry people and they would talk at her and talk over her and try and tell her what to do). The Flytrap title came from her mom giving the analogy “If you hold something tightly, you kill it. And that's what flytraps do.” CHINCHILLA secretly recorded her mom for the outro. In 2023, upon the viral success of Little Girl Gone, which she released independently, she signed with UMG’s Island Records but releasing under her own CHINCHILLA Music imprint allowing for more creative control.
Of this video, she said: “When it came to ‘1:5’, that song is so special to me, I didn’t want to just do a music video. I wanted to create something more vulnerable and raw, a live performance. It’s the most personal song I’ve ever released, and I think the rawness of a live performance mirrors that. I wanted to create something beautiful and aesthetic to watch. I’m a fly trapped and being watched, monitored, controlled… vulnerable yet strong. The trapped fly image is from the concept of my upcoming EP ‘Flytrap’ which ‘1:5’ is on. My mum has an open-hand analogy – ‘If you hold something tightly, you kill it, and that’s what flytraps do’. Maybe the musicians are in my head? They double up as guards too. I just wanted to create a really powerless depiction of what it feels like to be trapped.”
Can’t wait for your next Chinny or RenChilla reaction 🥰

When she says at the end "I'm sorry, I'm sorry" it breaks me.

Chinchilla is one of the greatest artists of our time
