I love how Adrienne was singing in the beginning. I also like how playful Adrienne and Israel are together. I never thought of making empanadas out of thanksgiving leftovers but it makes sense. The ones they made looked delicious.

My version Sweet potatoes.
4-5 large sweet potatoes, 6 sticks of cinnamon, 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg, 1 teaspoon cloves, 1 teaspoon nutmeg, small piece of fresh ginger (to your liking, not to much or will over power taste), 2teaspoons grated lemon rind, 1 stick butter, 1/4 Grandmas Molasses. Bring to a boil potatoes, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, nutmeg and ginger. In a bowl mix 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon cloves, stir together put to side. When potatoes are to your liking in cooking drain and put back in pot. Add 2 teaspoons of lemon rind, Grandmas Molasses, 1 stick butter and 1/2 a teaspoon of salt. Mash all together until you only see small pieces of potato toes or to your liking. Pour mixture in casserole pan spread out evenly. Take crumble made from sugar evenly over potatoes, should cover all potatoes every inch. Put in 400 degree oven until brown and bubbly. Enjoy!
