Oh, my colleagues and guests of my channel!
As a psychiatrist and psychotherapist, I explore the most complex and painful aspects of human nature, especially in the context of personality disorders. My goal is analysis and the search for ways to help.
In this video, I examine the clinical thinking of a diagnostician using the example of Ksenia Sobchak's public interview with Esther Trubitsyna.
Let me clarify right away: I do not make a diagnosis based on the interview. I am not her therapist, I have not conducted a clinical diagnosis, and I can only rely on what has been publicly shown.
I am interested in showing you how to look at this material through the eyes of a psychotherapist.
If you work with difficult clients or want to better understand the diagnosis of personality disorders, there is plenty of material here for observation and reflection.
And if you want to learn this systematically, in our programs we separately cover diagnosis, the degree of personality disorder, complex cases, and therapeutic strategies for working with them.

This video is for educational, professional, and original purposes and is intended primarily for psychologists, psychotherapists, and other helping professionals.
This analysis is based solely on a publicly available interview. I am not Maria Esther-Trubitsyna's treating physician, psychotherapist, or diagnostician. I have not conducted a clinical interview, psychiatric examination, or psychological testing with her, and I do not have access to her medical records.
Therefore, the video does not establish or endorse any psychiatric or psychological diagnosis.
References to borderline, histrionic, antisocial, and other personality traits are purely educational differential hypotheses: examples of what a specialist might examine during a full in-person assessment.
It is impossible to reliably determine the presence or absence of a mental disorder, substance use, intellectual disabilities, eating disorders, sexual behavioral patterns, or other medical or psychological conditions from a publicly available video recording.
Statements about motives, internal experiences, behavioral functions, and communication patterns represent my professional interpretation of the observed public material, and are not assertions of reliable facts about a person's inner life.
Individual events and circumstances mentioned by the participants in the public interviews have not been independently verified by me and are provided only in the context of the analysis of the published material.
The video is not intended for self-diagnosis or for diagnosing others. Individual traits, behavioral, sexual, emotional, or communication characteristics alone are not sufficient grounds for diagnosing a personality disorder.
The purpose of this analysis is to teach clinical observation, differential thinking, and a compassionate diagnostic stance, not to discredit, condemn, or publicly expose any individual.
