Anyone else see this thumbnail and start hearing "Airplaines like Shooting Stars" being sung in their head?

And then hate themselves just a little bit?

At first, I thought this was how the magic disappeared by the time A New Generation begins.

I was not expecting an Ancient Egyptian religion origin story.

This gives me massive Dark Souls vibes, how the world is slowly dying and becoming a dark, dead world, and how everyone is literally trying their damndest to stop the world from inevitably ending and live just a little while longer, despite the growing obviousness that nothing can be done. All things must come to an end.

Damn, is the world that came after equestria the human world, with Ra being the Egyptian God of the sun, and ancient egypt being the first true civilisation?

Something lovecraftian definitely happened to discord by the sound of it.

RA: Thank you and I won't let you down, twilight.

This is the new future, Twilight Sparkle suffering, the friends who will never see them again, it's like a dark side victory
Poor Twilight 😔😔😔

Thank you, Discord. You gave her a new friend. Good luck, Ra.

Wow... 0~o that was both chillingly sad, and hopeful optimistic at the same time... Death and Rebirth, two sides of the same metaphorical coin... thank you Scribbler..

Little spoiler for the story here.

I have a little theory, when discord promised to make a new sun. I think he was actually literally making a new sun from scratch, that explains why he was gone for so long.

So the ponies of equestria and Egyptian Gods huh; two things “I NEVER” though i would see “SQUISHED” together…….

Leave it to scribbler to find one of the best grimdark's I could listen to

This was heartbreaking 💔

But yet…a small sense of poeticism. A sense of beauty in the cycle of life.

@RoyhaneHangga 5 years ago

Ra, that is the name for ancient Egyptians' God, right? Or am I wrong?

"Sir, this world's energy has been consumed, the mission is a success." Said one of the pilots aboard a mothership, overseeing the destruction of yet another planet, taking its most precious energy and using it as mere fuel for a vast empire that done the same to countless others before it.
"Good, onto the next one, the emperor will be most pleased with the result of our mission's success, set a course for our next victim..." said the captain, sitting upon his cold throne, overseeing the orb shaped mothership that began its new path, it's engine spurring to life before shooting them off to their next target...

I’ve noticed you took a few days off from YouTube Scribbler. I hope you had a wonderful short vacation from daily uploads. You deserve to take as many breaks you want. I really appreciate your daily work. Amazing narration on this Ponytail. Keep up the good work. Have a wonderful day.

Idk maybe if the princesses could’ve given their magic to twilight she would’ve had enough magical strength to cast a preservation spell on the sun to preserve its heat.

I mean they had magic still, they could’ve casted spells that caused heat so they could fertilize the ground to plant- or even a duplication spell for the food.
