I don't always listen to Christian metal but when I do it's HOLY NAME and Impending Doom.

I converted to Christianity earlier this year and I had to stop listening to so many of the bands I used to. I really needed this list. God bless you ✝️🙏✝️🙏✝️

Fun fact, the Demon Hunter singer did the artwork for the past three Alice in Chains albums, including The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here

August Burns Red. I've been Digging Wasps later albums since Blackie became Christian.

”Unless it’s Theocracy. Everybody loves Theocracy” 😂 Just love this line - and yes indeed, Theocracy constantly turns my Big 4 in Metal - Metallica, Dream Theater, Symphony X and Rhapsody - into a Big 5 😀

Becoming The Archetype was definitely missed here but overall, amazing vid! Praise the Lord!

Demon Hunter was my introduction and frankly is still my favorite band, but since first hearing them in 2010 I've also found a lot of these other groups and am so grateful for them all.

I’m old, and my metal phase wasn’t too long, but I was really curious when Extol and Crimson Moonlight were going to hit the list. Glad they did!
It was nice in the 90’s and early 00’s to buy the physical CDs and get the lyrics with all these 😂

Deliverance "Weapons of our warfare"
Best christian album of all time. I cant believe they didnt get a spot.

Psalms 23 and if we faint not on Deliverance Crank it up!
That album helped get me through some tough times in the early 90s. I was jamming alot of Slayer and it opened the door to many ruthless demonic attacks. My Lord and Savior Jesus was there and Deliverance was cranked!

"They all love Theocracy" 😂😂😂😂 I've never heard a truer statement

Your videos are great Daniel. I’m glad you and your family are doing well now.

2:20 maybe because DH are the GOATS. They have so many subgenres in their albums that covers all aspects of Christian metal.

3:40 If TDWP professes Christianity at all, it's some confused mess that most would not recognise as truly Christian. I remember seeing an interview somewhere where Mike was like "sometimes I'm the only Christian in the band" and "everyone should just do what feels right to them".
