It's cool that 16 years ago some sculptors created this model with some writers creating the rules, and now it's alive and performing exactly like they envisioned in real time.

Watching him dig down every time the chaos spawns were try to do any heavy move and then tearing them to shreds was very satisfying

They barely used their charged plasma attack. Everytime I fight the hellbrute that’s all that fucker does lol

its funny to see all the scarabs just shot at it instead of hitting him

Respect to the Terminators taking turns charging in for 1:1 melee so that the missile rack/minigun guys could do their thing without getting targeted

Did anyone else noticed that the Trygon prioritized the ones that where in execution state first, the AI director in this game is just sinister.

A: Trygon are terrifying. I still remember reading about them burrowing into shelters and bunkers thought to be secure.
B: The flying move reminds me of Fallout 4 Bloodworms from Dryrock Gulch.
C: The sound design of Space Marine 2 is amazing.

"Help us Tzeentch! We have forgotten how to fire our guns!"

1:11 "WATCH OUT, WATCH OUT, WATCH OUT! Oooh, that's gotta hurt."

I like how you can see the player character foot steps.

The terminators are definitely nerfed for gameplay because lore wise that many terms against one trygon it would be dead in seconds

It really disliked that one Hellbrute in particular.

I really wanted the rubric marines to win but the moment their sorcerer went down it was over

1:10 i am glad the trygon didn't overeact

This is how I hope Total War: 40K feels

I mean, it's an okay demo. But the thing is the Occult Terminators would have been sliced in half long before the Trygon died in the demo. it's still cool to see the animations.

If they make a game mode where you’re part of an army of NPCs against Tyranids, I would love to see this thing diving into the troops in the background

Mmm, the Rogue Trader music is the icing on the cake... is that Edge of Daybreak?

The bio-electrical tail-rattle is a cool concept.

Thank you for including the health bars!
