ive been thinking about using a washing machine motor with a rheastat to make a polishing wheel. the rheastat to control motor revolutions for a more controlled polish.

Paul I need your help, maiden in distress. . I would like to set up a polishing system like you have, using the orbital sander. Can you possibly tell me where you buy those sets of sanding discs and are they a special size. I live in New Zealand and can't find those finer discs here.
