A brilliant man indeed.  The quality of his writing output was outstanding!

John Mortimer and Leo McKenna  ,,,,like a nice glass of rum and port ,,,,what a lovely pairing ,,,,,had many a happy hour watching  rumpole,,,,,sadly missed

Thank you so much. Reading a Rumpole story is a like having a chat with an old friend who is full of wisdom and delightful anecdotes. Read one when you're feeling a little blue because of the pomposity and hypocrisy of 'those we must obey'.

Absolutely love it! Thank you ! “ she who must be obeyed” and “ old darling” wonderful interview thank goodness we have these resources !

You will never see such an intelligent and penetrating yet courteous interview ever again.

The writing on Rumpole was so intelligent with so many erudite academic references, not in your face but sublte - this quality and level does not exist any longer.

Thank you so much for uploading this; I absolutely love John Mortimer's work.

Thank you for sharing. This was very enjoyable.
