Remco is living my childhood dream. Cycling all day, come home, beautiful lady waiting and cooking for him, PS5 with friends, unlimited cola, chocolate, Harribos, ice cream etc etc.😅

He did 243.6km in 7:35, that is 32km/h, alone, no peloton, no teammates, all by himself. That is mind-boggling.

Splits 7 1/2 hour training ride in two, multiple slop stops throughout, and here I am stressing over freewheeling for 20 seconds on a descent on my Z2 rides...

I remember watching you From falling off a Cliff and NOW to winning DOUBLE GOLD in Olympics. And anything in else between.

Hey @Remco. I had a horrible bike crash 7 weeks ago where I shattered my femur bone. It was similar to your crash - I fell from a high altitude in Spain near Alicante actually. I’m still on a wheelchair, but slowly getting better. Just wanna say you are my inspiration. How you recovered is truly amazing. I think of you every time I hit my indoor trainer !!

Cycling all day long - getting back home and your girl friend is not complaining „where have you been all day long?“ Instead she is nice and prepares your dinner - wonderful - this must be heaven 😄
