We finally reached harvest season.
In this video, we document rice harvesting, measuring the yield, and making rice husk charcoal (biochar).

From our first rice harvest to milling and tasting freshly harvested rice,
we also prepare the rice fields for winter by improving the soil.

The total harvest was about 250kg.

We moved to the countryside in Yamanashi, Japan,
and are renovating a 200-year-old traditional house while living in a kura (storehouse).
