Apologies for the censorship on this episode, the title card artwork must've triggered something so I had to crop it.  If you want to see it uncut though, you know where to find it.

Brandon had to censor the title card because people just could handle his handsome face.

It was the 60s, so I'll just assume the vials of green "blood" they gave out was just pure absinthe.

GoodBadFlicks called you out in the most hilarious way with his recent review of Bigfoot Wars
"somehow this is Brandon Tenold's fault"

The wobble effect feels like a migraine.  This would’ve been a tough watch on a big screen.

Don Ramone looks like both a Goosebumps foe & an enemy from Doctor Who's classic era

I love the logic of--  he's not in his tomb, therefore, he is alive.

Mr. Tenold! You have got to be one of the most dependable creators on YT. I needed my sarcasm fix today, so thanks.

Edit: Before I forget, do you got any of those Godzilla reviews laying around, man? Lol

I've never arrived so early I beat the comments asking for more godzilla reviews!

Thanks for the hard work and awesome reviews!

Temu Swamp Thing.

They used the entire soundtrack from Mad Doctor of Blood Island for Brain of Blood (1971) aka The Oozing Skull, which was basically Al Adamson mimicking Eddie Romero who directed this.  Cinematic Titanic, Joel Hodgson's post-MST3K movie riffing series, tackled Brain of Blood as their first release.

So, when I shockingly discovered a vinyl soundtrack for Mad Doctor, I got it so I could say it was from Brain of Blood. 😂😂

Green blood can't even hold a candle to Green Slime queue jazzy theme music

These are not sound issues, this is the villain origin of Christopher Nolan.

I love how the solution to a mutant crisis on a tropical island is just more shirtless wandering. 😅

I saw this one and the third one, Beast of Blood, at the drive-in when I was about four or five! I remember they showed this one AFTER the third one, since they’d always show the newest movie first, then repeat it again after the second movie for the people who pulled in late. I always remembered the music score and the opening sequence and credits of the third one!

The giant insect alien totem pole really caught me off guard for some reason, it's legitimately creepy and the fact that they never acknowledge it makes it more puzzling.

BTW, that moment  reminded me of "a big lips alligator moment!", an old joke of the Nostalgia Critic from his glory days.

Fun Fact: Lead actress Angelique Pettyjohn played Shahna on the classic Trek episode 'Gamesters of Triskellion." She played the chick with the green hair and aluminum foil bikini. BTW, I typed this before Brandon said it...

I LOVE this film,  it's the quintessential drive in flick.  Cheap,  sleazy,  mean spirited,  and melodramatic,  with that dangerous edge for us adolescent viewers of the time not knowing how far it would go,  that so many drive-in flicks from that era promised but failed to deliver on.     This one delivers.    I seem to recall that,  in the scene of the mother's murder,  actual animal intestines were used.             Would make a great double bill with "Night of the Bloody Apes".

15:06 "Lifelong dream of longevity!" 😂 Or... "Lifelong dream of long life!" 😂

Every time I see these Blood Island movies, I think of "Blood feast island man" from Aqua Teen Hunger Force... Anyone? ATHF? Willie Nelson? The Shaving?

Great video as always, Brandon!
