Kinda unrelated but this is making me feel old, because I remember some of these managers as players.

Every MLB team has to have a " sacrificial lamb" on their team. Someone who can punch the ump in the face and not care about being fired/ suspension. These umps are on bigger ego trips than federal judges...no repercussions for doing a brutal job.
