I adored my OM2 film camera, and still have it. The OM-3, to me is similar, with a complete digital update to that older camera. I bit the bullet and ordered the OM-3. I have other Oly cameras-too many! I’m not fond of grips, and this being a metal camera without one, like the OM2, will do me for the rest of my life and hopefully further my creative ability. So yes, a tutorial on how to use the colour/BW modules would be great. Thanks for this very informative video, Thomas, especially explaining the viewfinder for those who wear glasses! You must be the only content creator who has mentioned this, and I wear glasses.🇦🇺

Thank you for all your thorough information, your videos go really in depth in terms of actual use, details that I really want to understand in context of actual use, not just comparing specs.

Thanks for the info. Excellent discussion.

I believe an overlooked feature of OM cameras is Pro Capture (not necessarily high speed SH2) for street photography and wedding/event photography. I think this is an opportunity OM Systems can market the camera over other street camera brands.

You make some good, sensible common-sense arguments that imo needed to be said.

Hallo Thomas,
bin schockverliebt in die OM-3. Der neue Akku für meine OM-1 ii wird teuer🤣 Danke für deine immer wieder faszinierende Präsenz und Kompetenz! Grüße Claus

One of the other reviewers (text format) made the same comment…when testing on street they kept having folks stop and ask what camera they were using! I enjoyed several reviews like Digital Camera World’s. I do wonder if they will make in black…only in that it will reduce that stylish look, although perhaps that much the point. I missed this live, but will watch parts this morning!

Thank you for the comments on the eye point. I have trouble seeing the settings round the frame edge on the OM1 (1 & 2) but this does not affect use when photographing wildlife where speed is vital. I hadn't appreciated why this was, and I'm glad the OM3 will suit my glasses better.

Hi Thomas,
really appreciate your exposition, could you make a video dedicated to color creator and how it works?
It's not a film simulation... is way more powerful in my opinion but it's hard to let it works in the right way...
Thanks... keep inspiring us.

Thanks for adding to your initial review
A full colour creator tutorial would be great, I think the C.P. button is a good idea also.
I think some good very detailed content on how to use the creative effects colour and B&W would help raise the appeal of this camera, and hopefully sales for OM

I'm still enthusiastic about the OM-3, but thinking about it, perhaps OMS has missed an opportunity: the top dial has 5 custom modes to select from... but can you label them for say, Macro, Landscape, Street, BIF, etc? How about OM Workspace allowing complete configuration of the camera custom settings on your computer in addition to the camera? The software has already been written (and is in the camera). It just takes the will to port it to OMW. It would be easier than doing it on the camera itself.
