That ball into the box for the OG was a killer, wish more teams did that.
McCloy was always a bomb scare in goal.

Cooper was some player! I watch some of these old videos and it reminds me what a great player Davie was.

Always find it so fascinating seeing footage of Ibrox in transition with the first stand being built, the final days of the old ground and construction going on ❤️

I was at this game too and watched it later on Sportscene. This is the first time I have seen this game since. I remember Hearts doing alright in the first half but that penalty just before half time was crucial as Rangers just swept us away in the second half. Hearts actually got a financial reward from this game. There was a prize for the quickest goal scored in the Scottish Cup that season and Tam Forsyth's own goal won it !

As a Hibee it wad great to think back about the embarrassment of riches we had in Scotland, both teams full of Scots and plenty of others at Celtic, Hibs, Aberdeen and Dundee Utd.
Jim Jefferies played in this game, although not sure if he got a touch?? He didn’t half suffer some drubbings during his career, 0-7 to Hibs, 6-1 to Rangers, 3-1 to Eangers in a Cup Final; as a manager he lost 6-2 to Hibs, 5-1 to Rangers, and as Kilmarnock boss 5-1 to Hibs.

Brilliant piece of commentary at 2.47, Hearts line up a free kick and it is taken by Gammy! Classic.
