I have used the ak play markers. They are good for speed painting. I'm still watching review videos for these ones

I have been using them since I discovered them in February. I love them! One of my favorite applications is using the black marker for rimming bases, cuts down a dull task to literal seconds!

sound perfect for speeding up base coating ,then back to brushes for highlights and details

Absolutely splendid! I was considering purchasing these and your excellent advice makes my choice clear. Thanks! Keep the videos coming!

If you cut a pair of strips of masking or painter's tape, fold part of each back on itself, you can stick the two strips to the side and underside of the upper insert at the ends so the folded part sticks up an inch or so, and that gives you handles to lift the upper insert out of the box without having to fumble at the tabs between the slots.

Thank you for sharing this review with us. I've seen these pens advertised in several hobbyist magazines, but have been leery of purchasing them. I definitely see using them on gaming structures, especially for architectural detail work on the western buildings for Dead Man's Hand. A new tool to experiment with in the figure painting realm 🙂

I got some to try and mostly use the black for tank road wheels, etc. But after seeing this, I am getting the yellow to use on my Spanish Dragoons:)

The ones I own I have really enjoyed using them for blocking in and then washing and picking out highlights after

I'm tempted to use them on some old marines

Would love to see the pens used for ACW miniatures at both 28mm and Epic scale.

I have been waiting for this one.
I still cant get my head around this concept - colouring in minis 😂😂
The end results look great - the tank, with the added shaded and weathering, looked no different to when using paints.

A great little product, but im old fashioned and love my brushes too much.

Great little preview/review/tester. Thank you.

These look great, it's bloody crazy how good they work. That silver on the knight would save TONS of time!! Great work mate, as always!

@bernardspencer9876 2 years ago

Hmm,might give them a try

These have me interested. I travel for work at times and normally take some hobbying with me, I feel like taking some of these instead of paints would be a lot easier!

The blue has been good for epic sized Prussians coats . Wouldnt mind a darker Green .Black ,Gun metal and Silver are brilliant. But the reds and browns are not what I wanted of the hue
