feeling slightly better, how are you? drop some ideas!!!

'you have the wrong number, but please do tell me more' is a sentence that will either lead you to a disappointing cliffhanger or the best random interaction of your whole week

Ok but the last one is actually so wholesome

That last one… the extended version is that they talked every Christmas after that until the wrong number lady passed on.

A funny wrong number story I experienced:

One morning, while getting ready for school, I got a phone call. I answered, and the person on the phone said “Hi, is this [my grandmother’s name]?”
So I said, “This is her grandson, how can I help you?”
They then said that they’re calling with a neurosurgeon’s office and was wanting to confirm her appointment. So I asked if they tried calling her number directly.

Then, the person on the phone said, “Oh, sorry, I got the wrong number, I meant to dial [my phone number, but one digit off]”
Then I got into an argument with the person on the phone saying that’s not her phone number, to which they just hung up on me. I tried calling my grandma, no answer.

So then, I tried calling this phone number that was one digit off from mine, and it just so happened that this phone number belonged to a woman with the same first and last name as my grandma. Weird ass coincidence.

I got a text from some random number last winter saying “happy birthday little cousin!” (im born in spring). A few weeks ago, I got a call from some random woman asking why I had her nephew’s phone number. Im convinced there’s a family out there that thinks I’m related to them.

How is it that you are raising a baby with someone, but typing in their phone number manually to text them? Wouldn't they be in your contacts?

I used my husband’s phone to leave a message with someone we were meeting later that evening. Turns out he hadn’t updated his contacts list and I called a wrong number. Couple hours later we got a call back from that number with a very frazzled guy who begged us to talk to his girlfriend (who was yelling in the background) and explain to her why I had called him. She was convinced he was cheating on her with me. We argued with her for at least 20 min trying to convince her it was a wrong number before giving up and wishing him the best of luck. I hope he saw that red flag and found someone better.

The one about the navy hours was brutal. They even waited until 45 mins before the shift started to let them know they actually had to go to work

The guys who took presents to the couple with the baby is so wholesome 😊

The only wrong text that I've gotten was from a guy I'm "pretty" sure went to my high school and is a ginger. He sent me a picture of himself with bread around his neck and a sign that said, "ginger bread man." Every other texts that I've gotten have been scams

"wrong number" doesnt sound like a phrase anymore

"Why is everyone pooping in cars?" Valid question

“You really want to talk business after I got attacked by a band of frogs?! YOU ARE SICK!” That person came up with the most random yet hilarious situation 😂 I’m laughing so hard

I once got a text from a guy saying that I should go get checked for an STD because he was positive. Im a guy and was 13

Nah that marriage proposal one with the mom is by far the worst wrong number text ever. Imagine spoiling your PROPOSAL??

1:28 new fear: my boss texting the wrong number, and they get me fired

The guy who caught up in the baby birthing ACTUALLY going was such a wholesome twist

Once I got this text:
"Hey, this is Ryan. Think nate just got arrested. Cops went into your old apt."

And another from a different number:
"Ryan?"

Sooo... we can guess that Ryan had my number, instead of the guy he was trying to text. And the guy who was trying to text Ryan also had my number.
It all comes full circle....

0:52  bro took the phase "liar, liar, pants on fire" way too seriously
