The drug dealers and the cold blooded killers are the only ones who are remembered in the black community. However, the hard working guy doing the right thing is forgotten. Unfortunately, this mentality is backwards.

What about the young kings that come from the same places that end up lawyers and doctors let's shed light on that ‼️

In real life murderers are rotting in prison but on the internet they get compared to MJ this generation so lost it will never be found

We Americans glorify killers until it touches you personally.

R.I.P. to all of young black men, women and CHILDREN that have been killed and will continue to die due the senseless violence in this country. Peace to all races that go through this also.

I love when documentaries use archive footage of the actual people, time period clips etc…. instead of those stock movie clips.

I owned a salon and barber shop in DC around that time.  Wayne Perry was notorious for shooting dudes while they were in the barber chair.  I would get so afraid when people would say Wayne Perry was in the area because I always thought he would walk into the shop and kill one of the guys getting their hair cut.  I ended up putting a lock with a buzzer on the shop doors.  It was just that bad back then.  Smh

Nearly 500 murders a year back then in a city of 600,000 is insane. So much trauma our brothers and sisters experienced living through this. RIP to the INNOCENT lives lost. Hopefully we can get to a point where monsters like these are stories from the past.

Killing a random person.Talking on a payphone is psychotic

12 years old and already a killer. That’s so sad man…

It trips me out how these guys commit these horrendous crimes and all of sudden becomes super spiritual in jail 🙄

I grew up in the DC area. My older brother used to hang around the same clubs, areas, that Rayful Edmonds would hang at. This was around the same time that Alpo came up to DC from Harlem. Back then it was so easy to get caught up in nonsense. My brother did some time. When he came out he cleaned up his life. Looking back i can say we were lucky neither of us got killed.

Michael Jordan wouldn’t want to be associated with this type of bullshit 🤦🏾‍♂️ disgraceful

Fear and Respect are two different things....tired of us as black ppl making men like Wayne Perry a "Legend". But as soon as I bring up Christ I can hear ppl sucking there teeth or shaking their heads because they are non believers, that should show u what spirit u are operating under.

I'm sorry to say this but daamn, these two guys had overstayed their welcome here on earth... I mean how do u kill someone who was just minding his own business,  just to show your fellow monster how to properly kill a person... RIP to the innocent people & women whose lives were brutally taken by these guys... Not worth being celebrated at all...

Cried because he thought he messed up his first hit at 12...Wayne was a lunatic!!

I’m a native Washingtonian and I can honestly say growing up around this time was horrific. I saw my first dead body at a young age and can seriously say I do have some ptsd seeing gun fire and people I knew laying out in the street fighting to take a breath before their lives expired.

R.I.P to all the innocent people that was killed by Wayne...

That was extremely well done.   Intense story and also now sitting here  in 2022 hard to even describe the 80’s and 90’s.

Rest in Peace to all the innocent people that were killed by that Monster. May GOD have mercy on his soul. The lives he stole is pure evil.  Thank you for sharing the story.
