Whenever I see files from these cameras I just drool lmao.  One day

Getting the Hasselblad out of the bag in Marseille was a very risky move ! 😂

Hi @frameline. Thank you for your time in making this video. I have a few things that could be an honorable mention. Aside from the medium format sensor and most true to life colors for any camera system. I feel some of these points below could be great talking points for a future video.

1. The incredible viewfinder. The magnification and size of the viewfinder is huge. Looking through the viewfinder makes for a massive immersive experience when shooting photos.
1a. The viewfinder experience with this camera is the best experience from any other brand. the 1.0x magnification is something not many people speak about in there videos.

2. The camera does not shoot video. This is unfortunate, as video specs with this small form factor could have been really great.

3. The incredible image stability. 10-stops of ibis is amazing.

4. 100mp details zoomed in close. Showing what 100mp looks like in practice for cropping purposes.

5. Showcasing the 55mm manual focus capabilities as well. The manual focus scale is fantastic for street photography.

6. Camera ergonomics. The ergonomics are fantastic on this camera. The weight distribution and handling feel very good.

7. Low light auto focus. Since lidar works amazing in low light, this could be something to highlight as well.

8. Different crop modes: Primarily the 65x24 XPan viewport crop. This medium format sensor reaches very close to the XPan field of view equivalence. This might be the closest digital equivalent to XPan framing. Pretty cool :)

~ Sorry if this is longwinded. I truly respect the Framlines brand and channel. Yall's videos rock! I just wanted to bring a few additional ideas to the table for this wonderful camera. Happy Tuesday! :)

Never left my side since i got it, along with the 90v and 38v kits! Got me out there taking shots whenever I can 😊

guy went to Marseilles with a Hasselblad and came back to tell the story, camera still in his hands! That's amazing luck!

The little food cart at sunset, whew !

Astonishing results straight out of the camera. I completely agree, this looks absolutely stunning.

The II is US$3000 less than the Leica M-11.  And you get 16 bit color, 10 f-stop IBIS, HNCS, auto-focus, built-in memory and it just feels better in the hand than an M body does.  The US$3000 saved can be put towards that killer 35 - 100E zoom.  Case closed.  HB is eating Wetzlar's lunch.  It is a way better camera.

Expensive?  Yes.  As they say in stock car racing, "Speed costs money.  How fast do you want to go?"

You are 100% right about the II across the board.  Yes, that 55 is a sweet, sweet lens.Cheers

I agree - a mono preview would be wonderful. I love shooting mono on my EDC Leica D-Lux 8, and seeing the mono images onscreen is great.

Good overview. The beauty of the UX & UI, for both Hasselblad and Leica, is that they keep the interface and feature set really simple. They don't respond to market and influencer pressure to add features that detract from the image making experience.
That said the following would be useful:
- black and white mode/style
- more customisation of the live view and playback screens. I like to use highlight and focus blinkies, but if they are turned on you get them in every screen. It's nice to be able to swap between screens that have the technical information and one that is just the image with no distractions. The blinkies really detract from the compositional experience as they give a colour cast, and they distract. I think Leica get this screen customisation right.

great review. very inspiring shots captured. I need it :D

I can dream for free.  Loving my SL3 for now. I’ll call when I win the lottery     VERY well-delivered piece.  Thanks for posting

I think there was one thing I wanted to correct in this video at the start. I was enjoying sipping my coffee and seeing your images so i didn't worry. Anyway, I can't recall what the correction was so I'll leave it at that.

I have a friend with a similar camera who may let me borrow it for a session. Looking forward to that.

Great video mate, well spoken and beautiful images 👍

Great video. Qualified comments expressing your opinion - for others to take or leave as they wish. Cheers.

Lovely bit of kit , think i'll get one soon , makes my q3 look like a disposable

There he is again, the Negan of photography :-) Good work , nice camera , cheers

This camera is a technical miracle! I own both the X2Dii and the M-11, and the only comparative disadvantage of the X2Dii is it’s size - particularly when paired to the 20-35 wide angle. Other than that the Hassie is just a superior instrument, and the images right out of the camera are brutal. The other big downside is the huge files that can not be re-sized natively to a smaller pic…

To me the most important upgrade in a new firmware would be the option to disable AF activation from the shutter button!

Looks like the files are very warm. 1K Kelvin over and green shifted.
