We're used to disappointing sequels that don't recapture the magic of the original, but sometimes a movie comes out that's so terrible, it almost ruins the original and you have to wonder what they were even thinking when they made it. And as it happens, I've compiled my list of Top 5 Worst Sequels Ever right here.

Ironically, this list needs a sequel.

Grease 2. They were screening the original on TV one night, followed by Grease 2, and I was like, "There's another one? Cool!" That enthusiasm didn't last long

Gladiator was a case of "catching lightning in a bottle." The decision to make a sequel was unbelievably stupid!

The Joker one is crazy to me. The first movie made a billion dollars, the creator probably had the industry by the balls and could have done whatever he wanted and decided what he wanted was to blow up is own career because people related to the Joker when, in his opinion, they weren't supposed to.

In a just world, Pedro Pascal''s career would have ended with Wonder Woman 1984

Thank goodness Pacific Rim did not get a sequel. I can’t imagine how bad it would be.

Joker 2's greatest achievement?
Knocking Highlander 2 out of the #1 spot! (Which is, admittedly, VERY impressive!)

Imagine being so mad people liked your movie that you go out of your way to make a movie so awful that you torpedo your own career

I don't think I will ever hate a movie more than I hate The Last Jedi. It isn't just bad, it's lazy, stupid, dishonest, botched and frankly, insulting

Terminator 2 Judgement Day is pure unadulterated awesomeness.
There is no sequel after that.

Gladiator 2, I'm still pissed that my dad dragged me to that because the original is his favorite movie. I tried to warn him...I tried!

Joker 2 seems like one hell of an apology after being caught cheating by your wife...

Joker 2 is legitimately the most baffling movie ever made. Why even make a movie like that? How can you hate your own fans that much?
