Amidst the continuing heatwave, we left Kochi and headed to Mount Tsurugi, one of Tokushima Prefecture's 100 Famous Mountains ⛰️
We drove along the mountain roads in a caravan, took a lift, and hiked up to the top, where a magnificent view awaited us.
After descending, our next destination was Tokushima city!
We went to the Awa Odori festival, known to almost every Japanese person.
It was a festival on a scale I'd never experienced before, and I was completely overwhelmed from beginning to end 🪭
