8 years later & 100k miles I still DON'T have any DUMB @$$ Solar panels on my roof!!!
The Alternator load - I assume the Orion takes a manageable load - maybe only 30-watts? In the Moho have a large Fogstar Lithium battery and recharging from the alternator (+solar) is not stunning and our consumption is rather higher than yours. It’s a bit of a balancing act and putting an embargo on the air-fryer use is never popular! As a result, we go onsite about every 10 days - which coincides with our cycle for laundry, water etc. etc. Thankfully we are not roaming the remote wildernesses of the US!
In our previous nomadic existence, we had a 8kw generator and thought was about adequate! 🤡🤡🤡
