EDIT: I'm getting "erm, actually"-ed to hell and back for this one so I guess I should have been more clear. This video is about the Armada styled Mini-Cons specifically, IE they have powerlinx ports & the mini-con insignia. Under this Criteria Micromasters, Prime's Arms Micron, the thrilling 30 target masters etc. do not count (despite still being Mini-Cons). Apologies that I wasn't more clear. "Epic Fail" on my part

I got into Transformers through Cybertron. Those two-packs of recolored Armada Mini-Cons were the lifeblood of my childhood experience. And to this day, I'm an absolute sucker for tiny robots. While the Siege and Earthrise Micromasters didn't hit the same, they definitely helped scratch the itch.

7:42 Sideway seems like he's on his way to the store with his children on leashes

Small transformers can be pretty diverse despite their small size

Those 3 packs were wonderful. I have two brothers and we grew up pretty poor, so 8 bucks for a pack of robots that had one for each of us was an absolute blessing!

You heard it from Jake, you don't gain sentience until you watch Armada.

Wouldn't a minicon the size of a moon be a macrocon?

@Plecopleco 1 year ago

I love those weird little guys. They deserve more recognition in the Generations line.

The... "Reee-quiem" Blaster?

I have a whole bunch of Minicons, that I got as a kid from somebody, but for some reason non of them are complete teams except for Energon Perceptor. Interestingly I had Sideway's autobot head, but had no idea what it went to or why it had two pop out heads, until years later. I then found an Armada Sideways who didn't have his heads, so I finally had a use for it, (Still need to find that other head though).

I absolutely loved armada perceptor combiner to the point I made a petition for a remake once.

I need to find my Dark Saber team again. I actually got them in a baggy just full of tiny bots, both mini cons and legion figures, and didn't even realize what I had for a while as I was new to the whole thing. I gave it to my Voyager TLK Megatron for like 2 years. lol

Armada Megatron: "Surrender The Mini-Cons!
Hasbro: "Sure, right away... for a Seperate Fee. Shanix, Check, or Credit?"

@hayırhayır-t4s 3 weeks ago

As a child Star Saber was one of the coolest things i have ever seen right next to starscream using his wing as a sword

@Mechdestroyz974 1 year ago

When 12 armada remakes are made then we will get a 12 pack of the minicons for them

@vibespidersstudios8895 1 year ago

I always wanted some of these guys probably when a nearby toy fair rolls around

@BoisegangGaming 1 year ago

The Toy Armada with Aaron Archer went into a bit of detail with why the first few sets of minicons all had their own gimmicks, including the ones with partner figures: it was essentially a "best foot forward", where the toys were going to be sold at a loss but the hope was that they could build up enough of a brand that the later waves would make up for this.

I had Armada sideways as a child, with my cybertron figures but lost him and his minicons

17:28 jack black standing in the background is so stupid😂😂😂

I actually found that upscaled high wire up in Wisconsin a few months back. Snagged him to fill some childhood nostalgia for the Unicron Trilogy.

19:11 Mark Maher, one of the lead designers, has said on almost all of his Instagram posts showing off figures missing Minicons that both him and his coworkers REALLY want to make more Minicons, but (if memory serves) Hasbro doesn’t think that they’re important.
Also, if you want more Minicons, companies like DNA design are making some! So far all they’ve done is Drillbit as part of their Metroplex upgrade, but I’m sure if they ever do Tidal Wave, we’ll see a new Ramjet.
