In this business documentary, you'll discover the true story of William Colgate, the poor boy who, at age 15, fled England with his family to escape religious and political persecution. Arriving in the United States with nothing, he started from scratch working in a soap factory, carrying barrels and getting his hands dirty with lye.
Without formal education, money, or connections, William used only discipline, vision, and faith to create a small factory that would later become a global powerhouse. He faced wars, fires, economic crises, and fierce competition, yet still built an empire based on quality, ethics, and innovation.
