Nagatoro: Just kidding!
Narrator: She lied as easily as she breathed.

She has gone from joking about being near him to joking about being his GF to joking about being his lover and now joking about being his bride.

"Hey wouldnt it be funny if we, like, kissed as a joke?" energy

love that the backbone of her jokes and teasing are completely reliant on Naoto being flustered and her being assertive but she's only assertive towards him for the most part. Her jokes will eventually snap in half if she keeps this up, haha.

The more I’m getting old, the more I actually appreciate these type of romantic slice of life anime. Maybe not groundbreaking and original but wholesome. Looking forward to each new episode.

“Mom how did you meet dad?”
Nagatoro - “ I liked him instantly so I claimed him as MINE! And teased and bullied and joked and DOMINATED my way into his heart!”
Sempi - “I’m not going to lie that’s exactly what happened. Not 100%sure how I even got here but I’m happy…”

I know some people cant understand it yet, but Nagatoro turns everything into a joke because she fears being rejected everytime Senpai enters panic mod when she confess to him.

Senpai: "Joke's on you. You already were."
Nagatoro: "Huh?"
Senpai: "Don't worry about it...Hayase."
Nagatoro: "Huuuuuh?!"

10 years later, Naoto leans in for a kiss on the cheek, Hayase responds "Aah!  Did you see that, kids?!  Daddy's a creepy stalker!  Trying to steal a kiss from mommy!  Creepy creepy creep!!" batting him on the head while their children chuckle.

0:40 JUST LOOK AT HER! How fidgetly happy she is. And she is even trying to hide it.

They'll be a 50 year old couple still acting this way, such a cute relationship

I really love how shes gotten him to get some friends and come out his shell. I had a friend do something similar in college and it was really life saving

You know, this is how a romantic relationship should develop. Just two people who enjoy being with each other, gradually becoming closer and closer, not even realizing that they're in a relationship.

They are wearing the scarfs they gave each other for Christmas presents.

Nagatoro "bullies" him as a way to vent her deep thirst for this boy.  Basically, she treats him the way she wants him to treat her.  She wants senpai to turn into a gigachad when they are alone.

I can't wait for him to say "I do" when they get married and she starts laughing like "of course you would say it senpai"

I could see her doing this same routine just before their wedding.

They’re basically already dating

I love how impatient she got when she  wanted him to continue his hypothetical “If I were to,” statement 0:45

This Dude grew some balls. Really nice how he got more self confidence over time
