Hey guys, quick correction about the last opinion. I made a mistake. It should’ve said “a group member being stopped by security from picking up a fan’s rainbow Pride flag at a concert, while another member was allowed to hold a Polish flag” not “security or staff snatched it away.” My bad for the mix-up.

I find it annoying how Blinks make up excuses for Jennie’s performances whenever she gives us low energy. All I keep seeing is, “Jennie’s ankle injury from 1066” 😭 Like that ankle’s been through more history than half of K-pop at this point. It’s always some recycled excuse every comeback cycle: “she’s tired,” “she’s focusing on her health,” “she’s booked and busy.” Blinks could say Jennie sneezed in 2019 and that’s why her stage presence hasn’t recovered since 🙄🙄

JENNIE doesn't face the lazy allegations for nothing and blinks should realize that. If U'Ve been an idol for THAT long, and still lacking that energy especially in group performances, ofcourse u'll be accused of wanting to leave the group n what not. I just don't get it. If they're that bored of performing their old group songs, why can't they ask their company for more comebacks? I mean they can't possibly be THAT restricted by the company? They're strong enough career wise to be able to have demands and put them forward to the company yk. And ok, if they R stuck with performing the same old songs, can't they show their fans some level of respect or smth 🤡? Imagine giving your money to watch your fav perform and then your fav slaps U in the face with that low effort, 'i wish I wasn't here' performance. It's just getting so boring yk.

It’s hard to understand why people invest time and money in Blackpink's concerts that are almost guaranteed to disappoint. That money could better go to their landlords.

3. People don't realize that music isn't the most important thing in K-Pop, idols gain fans for literally everything else, their personalities, their visuals, their company, their survival show appearances, some drama etc. Do you know how many groups have released masterpieces as songs, yet barely received any attention and disbanded? Many, but they didn't have enough money and drama to keep them relevant

1. So true.. also the west just doesn’t care about kpop in particular and nobody has to, idk why kpop stans cry about people not liking kpop as if there isn’t drama every week or someone getting cancelled for dating

For the people who say that this is a marketing strategy, this is what BP and other people always forget, their legacy. They are tarnishing their legacy in the process for cheap attention that they do not need. "All publicity is good publicity" is only good for short-term, not long-term. It's good in the beginning of your career, not later on when you are already established.
The tides will soon turn and it will not be pretty for them. All these antics they are doing now, reveal so much not only about their characters, possible manufactured success, music with zero substance/longevity, but also mediocre talents that people didn't pay attention to in the beginning. Soon people will realize that they never had to work for anything, everything was pretty much handed to them. This is what they will be remembered for. I can already see the video essays coming.

SN: if I was in their shoes, I wouldn't be trying any of this nonsense. I would be grateful that everything was handed to me and wouldn't let the opportunities to not only be at my best at the top go to waste, but also try to deliver beyond what people expected of me. I'm not tarnishing my legacy for cheap clout. That's what C-D-list artists and celebrities do.

I'm starting to think the lazy Jennie thing is promoting her more than harming her
Sure it's giving her a bad rep but she's never gotten more attention

k pop fans are equally to blame for the downfall,  when they start spamming comment sections and twitter trends for one idol  or a group for barely a stupid reason  as stupid as an appearance. it makes non k pop fans take the genre as they present . a spam and joke with no substance

It’s fine if idols sometimes sing about earning money from their hard work, but when their money is all they sing about every comeback, it gets kind of annoying and out of touch. The people who struggle paying their monthly bills aren't interested in listening to K-Pop groups bragging about how many mansions they own. It's a parallel reality we aren't living in. Sorry Blackpink, but you have proven your success already. No need to keep singing about it. Sorry Ricky from Zerobaseone, but you talk about your money like it's a personality trait. Find other topics to talk about.

Yes. BLACKPINK giving low-energy performances shouldn’t surprise anyone anymore that’s literally their brand now. Which is exactly why I’ll say it again. Bp needs to disband. Blinks need to stop deluding themselves with “next group project” fantasies when it’s obvious the group’s passion for group projects clocked out years ago. They move like they’re allergic to effort.

Jennie looks bored out of her mind on stage half the time like she’s counting down the seconds till she can go back to Paris. And every time someone points it out, fans act like we’ve just insulted world peace. There are sooo many other idols that bleed on stage for a fraction of the recognition, while BLACKPINK can barely be bothered to lip-sync with enthusiasm.

Not to mention that it’s been about 1000 days since a comeback and they still treat it like a hobby.

K-pop is like the new plastic surgery and makeup look. Everyone eventually starts to look the same and not in a good way. Everyone is starting to point it out on people they don't like, but defend someone they like who does the same exact thing as everyone else.

FYI...I think Hwasa is the perfect IT girl cause she's chaotic but in a graceful way...Idk how Jennie or other idols are IT girls when Hwasa is the perfect fit.

Your Point Number 9. Years ago. YG could not have asked for it from a genie in a bottle : fans wanted Jennie to embody their low key narcissism while other stans wanted the Cinderella rags-to-ballroom gown fantasy with Lisa. This was never a marketing ploy, this was Stan culture in the wild, doing what it does. Great points!

That is literally what i was thinking Jennie is not just the problem its her fans too they claim she is something that is different and better then others they call her fashion icon which she is not since 2018, all rounder but inconsistent most of time on group stages, global it girl with literally no global appeal she has not performed any were outside korea and coachella i love her songs but the glaze she gets always gets me  i feel like she struggled to sell out 7k capacity stages despite good album sales in ruby era because no one trusts her anymore (respectfully)

0:41 I was so confused at these sentences, I was like "what are they talking about?". Thankfully they were pure sarcasm.

i think kiof got unnoticed after controversy, they were in my page but now i don't even know when they have comeback

I'm a 1000% sure that Blackpink will be easily forgotten in 10 years and maybe a bit sooner when you look at their work ethic that gives them a bad reputation + the fact that their songs are either getting old fast or are pretty generic and has never actually been ground breaking. Can't believe that these girls are labeled as the "biggest gg in the world".

I agree with XLOV, though I have to say that we should hold the company accountable and not the artists, because it was not the idols who were against holding the flag but the staff

7. I for one would love to see someone like Chuu in the fifth/sixth gen. Someone silly and fun but still kind and caring and a crucial part of her group
