The idea of Eastwood and Pryor working together on a movie is one of those wild what ifs that its too insane to beleive.

" What's happening Luther. I'm sorry about the door Man. Did that hurt.? It looked painful when you slammed into it." and " There's a new sheriff in town and his name is Reggie Hammond" are my faves.

3:42 Oh the irony. Nolte forgot the assignment for 3 days!?! Sounds like he was the one with the drug problem.

Eddie is a legend.
Has always stayed away from drugs.

For me, when he goes, "put on the red light, put on the red light..." and Nolte snatches off the earphones. "You gotta name cop?"

Eddie Murphy was not in the scene with no cuts. It was when Jack Cates returned to the station after his friend on the police force was shot with his gun that he gave over to Ganz at the hotel shootout. His character had not even met Eddie Murphy‘s character yet.

who remembers the walkman models that had the mike button so you could listen to the sounds in your surroundings with the push of a button instead of stopping your tape--as seen in the cell scene in 48hrs?
