As a galesburg resident, galesburg has everything all the time

I love your videos man! Railfanning with commentary, especially in areas I’ve visited before, is always a treat. Keep up the good production!

Went to College in Galesburg and always loved how close campus was to the railroad

Great catches and awesome video

I would totally go there(if i could) 😊

I went to Galesburg for the first time a few weeks ago. And I already wanna come back. Awesome video!

That's the old ATSF TransCon that runs by Peck Park. The old CB&Q  Chicago Sub crosses on the overhead there.

Great video - that triangle is fantastic for trains. Burlington, when busy, is really fun

And just to east - Santa Fe hill outside of Chilicothe - love posting up under the bridge

Yoooo this is so sick! I was up there last week and man it is such a sweet area to foam in. Definitely will be coming back very soon!

This was an INTERESTING GREAT VIDEO!!! Really enjoyed it🤗📸🙌🏾

Awesome video, a lot of good places to watch trains, I been thru there several times on Amtrak, never rail fanned in person, but the rail cams show many of those trains, keep up the nice videos.

The nice thing is that you can sit at the station or walk up above track level on the pedestrian bridge that allowed you to cross over when there was a riverboat casino docked not too far away from where you filmed this train. It's also a far cry from where the old Amtrak station was located (by the Fort Madison Wastewater Treatment plant for the longest time).

Great video I'll have to check out Galesburg one day

9:32  actually Amtrak 160 is a special variant of p3 for the dash 8s not phase 2

Awesome catches. Crazy to think that there is a heritage unit at 8:04. Even if it’s just a bunch of stickers slapped on

The curve right off the Burlington rail bridge is the start of the Hannibal Sub.

Galesburg over Rochelle for railfanning.

Great video! I’m a Fort Madison resident and it’s always nice to see coverage of this area, especially Burlington. Seems like the Ottumwa side usually gets ignored since it’s so close to the Transcon.

You were very fortunate to catch that much traffic in Burlington. The Ottumwa is usually pretty slow these days, and 3 coal trains in a short period of time is far less common than it used to be, sadly. I’ve sometimes spent hours trackside up there with nothing to show for it.

Also, as an FYI for the next time you’re out this way, the BNSF bridge in Burlington stays down by default, even if there are no trains nearby. It only opens when a boat needs to pass, just like the Fort Madison bridge. 🙂

Awesome video 👍🏽

Nice catch on the 25th anniversary Engine of BNSF
