Have You Seen The Bridges?
The Storseisundet Bridge is a tourist spot even before No Time to Die Its been on Beth's list to go see because she is a Bond girl at heart and has been a Bond fan for quite some time. When we found that we were going to be near the bridge we planned just a run up there to look at it. It was fun. Got two ferry rides in the bargain. There actually a cafe at the bridge and a very nice parking lot at both ends. TOO MANY RV”S Not enough Ferraris and Aston Martins. But what the heck It’s not exactly super easy to get to!
WHAT will we do next?
We have taken an overnight ferry on Colorline from Oslo to Keil We will work our way to Stuttgart for Oktoberfest. WE WILL be going to Cannstatter Folkfest often referred to as the Stuttgart beer festival. We have wired a deposit to the campground and hopefully it will go OK. The camp is right next door to the festival so I’m sure it will be interesting? We will still find lots of other things to do in Germany (drive along the Rhine perhaps?) before heading to Hoogeveen Netherlands to unpack the van and pack our suitcases for the trans-Atlantic crossing. Our 5th crossing on the MS Rotterdam I think we are getting used to it! We plan on following the Rhine like we first did on a river cruise with Viking years ago that gave us the idea to #vanlife it in Europe.
