Never forget that the canonical final shot of the DCEU is Orm eating a cockroach.

Hey man,

Dunno if you're gonna see this, but this video really touched me. I know it's a dumb movie about a big dumb goof, but my brother passed away a couple weeks ago, and your generally cheery disposition combined with the eventually loving relationship between Aquaman and Orm was... cathartic, I think.

Keep up the good work, pal.

I can't wait for everything great about Deadpool and Wolverine!!!!!!!!

Goddamn shame about the DCEU as this was a damn fun movie.  I like that they defied our expectations with Orm.

The arms/running thing is the best gag in the movie and it gets a big lol from me every time.

I still don't know if Arthur was messing with Orm about eating those cockroach lol. Because Arthur really looks genuine about it and he seems like the kind of guy that's doesn't mind eating exotic stuff. Plus there was no further scenes of him laughing or getting disgusted by Orm. Just Orm eating a burger with a live cockroach. God I can still hear that crunch lmao.

I haven’t seen Aquaman 2 since it came out but this video made me appreciate the movie way more! And the buddy comedy dynamic was definitely the right choice for this movie, Arthur and Orm are great foils

18:50 There's actually a good deal of contention around this from what I've seen, I'm a Kiwi, and when I heard that phrase, I clocked it as a Māori phrase, especially since before he threw the trident, he held the trident in a Taiaha style (which he incorporates throughout the movie as well). However, in the movie subtitles, it says "Speaks Hawaiian," which, In my opinion, is probably more likely that was an error since a similar thing happened in the first movie, and Aquaman very clearly has had a Māori upbringing and there's a bunch of Māori culture sprinkled throughout the movie. It very much could be either though.

Consider making EGA Adventures of Tintin one day.

Hopefully we'll get an EGA about Blue Beetle as I thought it was relatively fun, even if a bit tropey. That was the previous DCEU film prior to this, so I think it's worth looking at.

Maybe I misheard, but Loki isn't Greek mythology, it's Norse.
I'm going to watch A2 again, I watched it the first time convinced the baby was going to be killed. I read this was what happened in the comics. Such a relief when that didn't happen

So happy to find someone who actually appreciates this movie.  Sometimes a man just wants to have dumb fun.

Okay, 1.) Don't eat bugs. I don't care what the excuse is! Just.... just don't.
2.) I LOVE AQUAMAN'S TRIDENT SPEARING THROUGH THE EVIL TRIDENT!!!

3:52 as the auntie of two little ones obsessed with octonauts, I am very familiar with creature report. To be fair they know all the creatures of the sea so it's not the worst kids programme.

I dont know if anyone else noticed, but they cut Ambers scene's down to the point some of the editing looked miss placed. Which I knew they were going to do, but you can tell that she was supposed to be in more scenes in the movie.  Just a little observation I guess.

The "get away from my son" line took me back to Son of the Mask and i laughed on the delivery

I still find it amazing that after decades of Aquaman being a punchline in popular culture the movie solution to the problem was so simple. He's not a guy who talks to fish; he's a badass, who happens to be able to talk to fish. Jason Momoa was the best possible casting.

Omg, I’m 18 and thank you for the Octonauts memories, definitely one of my favorite cartoons when I was little.

Would love to see the rest of the pirates of the Caribbean movies i think theyre such a great series of movies
