Brilliant, every note, every phrase. Probably the piano concerto Maestro Pletnev interprets best. The conductor understands this concerto very well, too, he even dances along to Schumann's harmonies and rhythms, and both, he and Pletnev create a special energy interpreting Schumann's music. The orchestra did a very good job, too. Bravi everyone! 🎩💐

Love the lush, crystalline sound of the Kawai grand. Pletnev plays this masterpiece with the greatest poetry. The conductor and orchestra support is songful soulful. Everyone is in the groove!   PWG

I’ve listened to all of the major recordings of the Schumann concerto, including but not limited to Alfred Cortot, Dinu Lipatti, Sviatoslav Richter, Martha Argerich, Radu Lupu, and others, and man… I have to say, this is the one I keep coming back to. Such a vibrant, vivid, deeply human interpretation of the piece. The artistic freedom of Pletnev’s play is astounding.

Первый раз услышал концерт в таком исполнении,это гениально,вся музыка зазвучала по новому,хоть и говорят что Плетнев затяжно играет-но как он открывает всю красоту звучания,Браво!!! Нереально красиво!!!

Normally a slower version than normal of any piece one is used to tends to sound laboured but not here: that opening movement was beautiful.

Leaves other interpretations unsatisfying.  Bravo Maestro!

2021 and they still dont know how to film a piano that it makes sense for the viewers... but very great performance i love the open air feeling
