I’m a retired shipbuilder welder. That thing is put together right! The plastic welds and the flat filet welds in the inner bottom is done just like a ship…just plastic instead of steel.

Amazing plastic welding,never seen before

Into your slip joints and where you glue the structure to the bottom and sides.  Do you carve a groove in the edge of the panel. Then a hole to inject adhesive so most of the joint is filled.  Its just a thought rather than the dispense and then press the joints. Which can result in poor bonding in some areas.  This is only a thought.  I spend spare time for 22 years doing large wooden power boat repairs.  A few weeks to a few months per year.

Nice torsion box design. This looks quite sturdy.  Kind of a strange choice making that out of black HDPE, though.  At midday sun in summer, the deck might be painfully hot.

At least we know it's safe for parking lots, that's the important thing

Great little video and well built. A suggestion if you can add a calendar/clock in the corner it would give an indication of time involved. Cheers Peter

Whole lot of folks watching one person work.

Interesting. I'd be interested to see how the costs compare to GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) with similar stability.

love to see something built in the midlands , usually all this stuff seems to be American ,, watching with interest .

Awesome 😂more plastic 🎉 just what we needed ❤

I would love one of these designed like the old 19' Sanger pickle fork. This is so cool.

Very cleverly made.

Wow from Australia !!! Fantastic job !

This was great to see...I'm looking forward to more!!!

Man it looks so good on the water. Makes me wanna run out and buy one.

That is impressive!

Excellent I would love a wide beam canal boat. 👍

Flotation should be above the waterline otherwise it will turn over if filled with water

What is the cost? Actual size? HP rated? Tunnel option? Warranty period? How wide is the front bow?

An engineers delight of a video. Ghosts of the aircraft industry in your design and fab which is always a good thing. Looks like it will
take a lickin and keep on tickin too. I live next to Portsmouth harbour and there were work and fishing boats there that were a familiar sight to me over 40 plus years because they were reliably and stubbornly in service (and loved by their owner no doubt) for the whole of my Gosport ferry sailing life. I suspect your vessels  will stand the tests of time. Just a thought but how about RETROFIT upgrades for owners to change or adapt usage, modular cabins and cuddy's etc. Anything you might print as a snap on/snap off option to customise. Bit like Smart cars. Love it. Looks Resolut actually.
Look up a TV show called the BEACHCOMBERS (1970's I think) about logging boats. Market there for ya ready made. I wish you success.
It would have got the Kite Mark!
